Premier Aluminum Bi-fold Doors Fully Customized Unlike alternatives from other manufac- turers, every Wilson door is custom-built to your specifications, eliminating the need for costly building modifications or product “adaptations” in the field. Space Saving Design The Premier™ bi-fold door elevates within the threshold and requires little to no headroom or wall clearance. This feature leaves more usable space, both inside and out. Its frame is mounted and oper- ates on the outside of the building. That means no track on the floor, no panel storage on the sides, no need for support mechanisms or tracking from the ceiling, and no intrusion into the interior of the building. Lighter, yet stronger than steel framed alternatives, Wilson Premier™ bi-fold hangar doors are made of 6061-T6 aluminum. Custom built to match your exact specifications, they are easy to install and have one of the lowest life cycle costs in the industry. Regardless of the environment, the raw mill finish provides a clean, crisp look and higher aesthetic value than steel products. There is no rusting or chipping paint and the door can be clad with any covering to achieve your desired look. Premier™ doors offer the size and strength you need, with the style you want. ECONOMICAL MODULAR CONSTRUCTION Field welding is unnecessary for manual assembly of a Premier™ door. Vertical or horizontal splices bolt together for quick, easy instal- lation. Our economical modular construction saves installation time and reduces installation costs.

Premier™ Bi-fold Door Specifi cations:POWER OPERATOR – All electrical controls are designed to meet National Electrical Code Section 513. The gear motor is equipped with an electric brake and will hold the door in any position during its travel. A magnetic starter with momentary pushbutton controls is standard. Heavy-duty rotary limit switch is weather proof. All controls are factory tested.

LIFT CABLES – Galvanized steel cables are sized and numerous enough to provide a 5:1 safety factor. Lift cables are not threaded through pulleys, but fastened directly to the top hinge, transmitting forces to the header of the building, eliminating undue stress. Cable guards are provided to protect against inadvertent contact.

DRIVE SHAFT – The drive shaft is mounted on the bottom panel and runs continuously along the entire width of door. The cable drums are an integral part of the drive shaft, ensuring an even lift of the door at alltimes. The shaft and drums are heavy-duty galvanized tubing.

LOCKING MECHANISM – The Wilson Premier™ aluminum bi-fold uses anauto-locking mechanism that is unique to the industry and has proven itsreliability for decades. A standard feature of the Premier™, this systemallows us to include a remote control system with photo-eyes as a part ofthe total package.

MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION – 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy con-struction is lighter, yet stronger than steel. The lightweight construction reduces the need for shoring up the building structure. The aircraft aluminum frame resists corrosion and maintains a crisp, clean raw alumi-num fi nish for years to come. Simple bolt-together, modular construction provides for quick and easy installation. No fi eld-welding required.

SEALS – Doors are furnished with full perimeter seals: a soft rubber topseal, neoprene side seals and a bottom loop that hugs the contour of the ground.

COMPONENTS – Hinges are zinc plated steel, to resist corrosion and are furnished complete. All bearings are sealed.

AUTOMATIC LOCKS – Auto-locks, that automatically lock and unlock the door as it opens and closes with a push of a button, come standard. Locks horizontally engage to eff ectively pull the door closed.

CABLE GUARDS – Cable guards protect against inadvertent human or equipment contact.

DOOR FINISH – Standard door fi nish is Mill Finish Aluminum.

THRU-BEAM PHOTO EYE – If an object breaks the beam of thestandard photo eye, the door reverses and is held open until it is reset. This is a standard feature, unlike other manufacturers.

OVER TRAVEL SWITCH – This back-up switch stops the door to ensure the door never exceeds its upper limit.

RADIO CONTROL – One standard feature includes a hand-held radio control with two transmitters, a receiver and an external antenna.

PROGRAMMABLE DRIVE WITH DOOR CONTROLLER – The variable speed drive provides for a smooth start and stop, which minimizes wear on the motor and components. Features Up/Down/Stop buttons.

Please note: Wilson Industrial Doors, does not supply sheathing or framing for the door opening. Wilson Industrial Doors reserves the right to change door speci cations without notice.
