headspace Mount Gambier provides a range of health

services for young people aged 12-25. In late 2016, we

are moving to a permanent site in Mount Gambier, and

we want to fill our space with young people’s art!

We want to encourage the creative abilities of young

people, provide an opportunity for positive community

participation, and showcase and celebrate young

people’s talents.

‘Balance’

Terms and Conditions of entry 1. Entry is free.

2. The competition is open to young people aged 12-25 who live in the Limestone Coast region.

3. Limit of one entry (per person) for each category. Please complete a separate entry form for each entry.

4. The artwork submitted must be original and have been completed between August 2015 – Current.

5. 2D: Maximum dimensions for two dimensional artwork are 200cm height x 200cm width.

6. 3D: Maximum dimensions for three dimensional artwork are 150cm height x 100cm width and maximum weight is 5 kilograms.

7. Digital audio visual: Maximum length of recording is five minutes. For this category, we are seeking art that relies on moving pictures/video. Examples of this type

of submission include but are not limited to: video animation, short films, recordings of dance, music or singing.

8. Artwork submitted after 5pm on Friday 28 October 2016 will not be considered.

9. The panel of judges may request to see the artwork in person before the winners are announced.

10. Winners will be chosen based on the quality of the work, creativity, and how well the artwork aligns with the theme of ‘balance’.

11. The winning artwork will be property of headspace Mount Gambier, however the artist retains the copyright of the artwork.

12. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email, and winning entries may be displayed on the headspace Facebook page.

13. Winners will be publically announced at the grand opening of the headspace Mount Gambier permanent site, details to be advised.

14. The winners will be required to submit their original artwork to the headspace Mount Gambier site when collecting their prize.

15. All entrants will be invited to have their artwork displayed at a public exhibition at headspace, details to be advised. SPONSORS
