01. Go to the site and click on ‘Register’.
02. Use your @student.tudelft.nl e-mail adress to register.
After registering you will receive an activation e-mail. Click the link herein to verify your e-mail adress and complete the registration.
03. Click on ‘Free Software’ to see the list of available software.
04. In the software list select the ‘AutoCAD’ tab and the version you want to install. Here, AutoCAD 2013 for 64bit is chosen.
Download the 32-bits installation package if you’re using a 32-bits version of Windows (You can check in the properties page of My Computer).
The fi les for installing AutoCAD are available at: http://students.autodesk.com/.

Important noteDo not download AutoCAD Architecture as it does not resemble AutoCAD at all. Only AutoCAD Map 3D is an alternative.

07. After the installation fi le is unpacked, you will see the screen below. Select the ‘Install’ option.
Click the arrow under AutoCAD 2013 and a list will drop down.
09. Make sure you select include service pack(s) in the list. Click the arrow again to close the list and click next. AutoCAD will start installing.
08. Enter the serial number and product key visible on the download site and click next.
05. When the next page is opened, you will see the serial number and product key you will need later. Select the ‘Browser Download‘ option to get the AutoCAD installation fi le.
06. Now you can chose the location for the installation of AutoCAD. Normally the given folder is fi ne.

12. AutoCAD 2013 can now be used by double-clicking the icon on your desktop or starting the program from the start menu.
10. Wait for confi rmation of AutoCAD fi nishing the installation.
11. To activate the product start AutoCAD 2013. A window will appear where you can fi ll in your license information visible on the autodesk website. Click ‘Activate’.
