WhenusingNoChipDip®,heatthewaxtoatemperatureof380°F.Wehavefoundthatthetemperaturethatworksbestforusis350°F.Thehigherthetemperature,thethinnerthewaxbecomes.Ifthewaxismeltedat400°Forhigher,thewaxtendstocrackmorefrequently.Werecommendthetemperaturebekeptat300–350degreesdependingonhowmuchwaxisinthepotandontheenvironmentofwherethewaxdippingisbeingdone.DONOTmixNoChipDipandLowTempDipwaxtogetherbecausetheyarechemicallyincompatible.Whenmeltingyourfirstbatch,youmaynoticequiteafewbubblesonthesurfaceofthewax.Thisisnor-mal,duetothehighmoisturecontent.Toremovebubbles,lightlyskimsurfacewithanyutensil.Donotstirthewax,asthiswillcreatemorebubbles.Oncethebubbleshavedissipated,youmaythenstarttowaxyourbottles.Afterdippingthebottleinthewax,lettheexcesswaxdripoffbottlebeforeturningupright.
