OUR STORY

Just over three years ago, in 2011, Old Town Suds was founded and it originally set off to be focused on green cleaning products. Our founder, Steffanie, began experimenting with ways she could cut back on chemicals in her condo after finding out she needed brain surgery for her Chiari Malformation. One of the best recommendations from those around her was to be more cautious with the items she was using in her environment. Until that point, Steffanie never really considered how products that were designed to “kill germs” could do more harm than good.

Since Steffanie already had an allergy to the “free & clear” laundry detergents, she started her product development there. Through trial & error she developed the laundry detergent that you can find now. It’s been a staple for Steffanie for years now. (She even jokes that it takes the stinky smell out of her husband’s socks!).

A year or so later, Steffanie went to her first farmers’ market in Alexandria, VA and set up her very first booth. At that point, Old Town Suds was only had one product. Come the next Spring, the line expanded into cleaning products. By that Fall, based on customer demand, Steffanie introduced her cold processed bar soaps. The rest, as they say, is history.

Today, Old Town Suds focuses on decadent soaps and spa products that are made with ingredients you can eat. From our highly acclaimed shampoo bars to the best face soaps around, Old Town Suds continues to develop new products that are safe and enjoyable for the entire family.

WHOLESALE ORDERING INFORMATION

OrderingOrders must be paid for in full in US currency at time of order. At this time, we do not offer Net 30. Returned checks due to insufficient funds will be charged a $25 fee.

Fulfillment can take up to 4-6 weeks depending upon stock levels, and therefore all wholesale clients are asked to plan accordingly. If all products in your order are in stock and ready, you should receive your order within 1-2 weeks. Backordered items can take up to 4-6 weeks to arrive. Please specify if you would like items to be sent as they are ready or held until the order is able to be shipped in full.

If your merchandise is damaged or incorrect upon arrival, save all contents and packing materials and contact us within 3 business days for a replacement.

Returns PolicyTo ensure that all of our customers are receiving the finest product available, we are unable to provide refunds, exchanges, or credits. While we stand behind our products 100%, we cannot restock inventory that has been at another location. If there is a problem with your order in the form of defect or error, contact us upon receipt of shipment and we will do everything possible to make it right.
