Additional Badger Knife Show Information

The Holiday Inn Express is undergoing a major renovation on the interior and exterior of their building. This will have some impact at the time of the Badger Knife Show. They are currently working on the exterior facelift and will finish that up in November.

The interior work will start in November. The new phone system and upgraded fiber optic internet and HD TV channels by Charter have been installed. They will start on the fifth floor, doing one floor at a time, and work down. All public areas and guest rooms are being done from the wallboard to the floors. They will restructure the lobby, pool and breakfast areas. All new public and guest-room furniture are in the plan. The exer-cise room will be moved to the second floor and expanded, along with new equipment. The completion date is scheduled for April 2014.

This is where it will impact the show. There will be no guest rooms available on the first floor during our show. This also means there will be fewer guest rooms available. Make your guest room reservations at the Holiday Inn Express early!

We have arranged for an additional block of rooms at the neighboring Microtel Inn by Wyndham Janesville. It is right next door to the Janesville Conference Center. You can call the Microtel Inn at (608) 752-3121 for reservations. Room rates start at $56.00 plus taxes.

Be sure to mention the Badger Knife Show to get the special room rates. They will hold the block of rooms until March 1, 2014.

Knife Judging and Awards There will be no knife judging/awards at the 2014 Badger

Knife Show. The floor plan of the first floor will be totally changed. The smaller meeting rooms will be eliminated and there is no other area available at the time of the show to do the judging. We will made decisions concerning future shows at a later time.

Looking forward to seeing you March 28, 29, & 30, 2014, for the

2014 Annual Knife Show!
