Solo & Ensemble● Contest is Friday, February 1st @CTMS

● All students required to perform a Solo (assessment grade)

● Solo Entry & Accompanist Fee is included in Band Fee

● Ensemble are jointly selected by directors and private lesson faculty

● Parents and families are highly encouraged to attend!


Winter Concert ● Who: All Band and Diamonds Members

● When: Wednesday, December 5th

● Where: CHHS Main Gym

● Attire: Ugly Christmas Sweaters/Red Santa Hat w/ white trim


Parade of Lights ● Thursday, December 6th, Downtown Grapevine

● Band & Diamonds perform last this year

● Students wear uniform and a red santa hat with white trim

● Meal and transportation provided (pick up at band hall)

● Parents and families encouraged to come cheer!


Marching Instrument & Uniform Check-in● Monday, December 10

● 3 PM-6 PM

● Parent volunteers needed for Uniform Check-In - please see Ms. Goodwin :)

Fundraising Update ● Our biggest fundraiser of the year is Fan-Pledge. We profited $39,332● this year. We missed our goal by $668.00. This is still quite amazing.● Thank you for your participation.● Corporate Sponsorship- We need this role filled. In past years we

were able to bring in $10,000.● Corporate Matching- Does your company match? Ask, they just might.● American Airlines- Are you an AA employee? They give miles to the● band for 50 volunteer hours.● Spirit Wear- We have raised $1571
