The Coastal Partnership

Patient Reference Group (PRG)

Village Surgeries

The Coastal Partnership area within the Northern Villages extends from Horsey in the North, to Repps in the East and to Caister in the South, with the boundaries basically formed by the various water features of the Norfolk landscape and has surgeries in Hemsby, Martham, Ormesby and Caister.

The Practice also has two surgeries in Norwich, Old Palace Surgery and Beechcroft Surgery which also has a branch Reference Group working towards the same goals as our Village surgeries.

Patient representation plays a crucial part in helping the Practice identify what it can do better and what is important to patients. For the past few years the range and knowledge of health services available to patients has expanded dramatically and this has resulted in a greater demand for GP and Nursing time both in person and over the telephone. The PRG has helped to identify some of the underlying problems as well as shape what the Practice can do. Working with the Practice we hope to improve local awareness about services, the appointment system and the functioning of the practice; all of which we hope will bring benefits to you the patient.

The PRG are looking for more members to help continue this vital work so if you are a patient at one of the surgeries and would like to get involved please contact us at [email protected] or ask for details when you next visit your Surgery.

If you don't want to attend the meetings but would like to know what is happening within the PRG, you can become a Virtual Member, via email contact. For more information please email us at [email protected]
