The leisure center "Schwarzl", covering an area of 140 hectares,

is the largest recreation and event center of its kind

all over Austria. The success story started back in 1984

as the former gravel pit was reopened as a recreation

center within the beautiful village of Unterpremstätten,

only seven kilometers south of the city

of Graz. Since that time, about two

million bathers are flocking every year

to the shores of the lake of "Schwarzl" with

an area of water of 56 hectares.

Hall of StyriaOne of the best venues all over Styria.

Holding up to 3000 people for concerts, balls, exhibitions, workshops,

fairs, conventions, sports events, proms and gala nights, this hall is

offering a wide range of possibilities regarding any kind of events.

Sound and light engineering togehter with upmarket catering are

topping this "Best-Place-Venue" off.

Area: 2.500 m2

Stage: size of the basic stage is 14m by 6m

Daviscup-HallWith the possibility of either stands holding up to 10000 people,

arranged with tables holding up to 15000 people or holding up to

28000 people standing, this hall can easily accommodate major events

like exhibitions, concerts, fairs and conventions.

After Riverdance or the Tennis Daviscup versus Germany taking

place in this hall, we will be making everybody's blood boil by hosting

"Masters of Dirt" amongst other things.

Park of SculpturesDuring summer, the "Alpine-Garden-Cafe" with its beautiful environment

is the perfect venue for weddings, gala days or banquets.

Nature together with culture and fine arts are forming an atmosphere

so special you can't find anywhere else within

Styria.

Open-AirThe area of about 64.000 m2 holding up to 110.000 visitors became

popular through events like "SeeFestTage" and the "Oktoberfest" (other

options like larger or smaller possible). The area is entirely tarred and

thats the reason why you can easily adapt the area for any kind of

major event like fairs or exhibitions.

I does not matter whether you like it under the open sky

or in your own tent city – we will be building the facilities

and utilities for your very own major event.

On the shores of lake "Schwarzl" the waterfront SummerDanceClub

can hold up to 5000 people. Therefore it is the perfect venue to host

your After-Show-Party following up your event, whether it was a

meeting, convention, promotional or incentive event.. You and your

guests or employees will be pampered in relaxed atmosphere and

would be able to enlarge upon or debrief the issues of

the day. Your topic or your event will be emphasized

by suitable DJ-Music of your choice.

Hazienda:The Hazienda (forming a part of Papa Joe's) is perfectlysuited for workshops, parties and private functions.

Cocco Bello:This is the place where Mediterranean cuisine is to the fore. Italianatmosphere while overlooking the Schwarzl lake is conveying a feelingof holiday by the ocean right in the middle of the heart of Styria.

During the past few years, the leisure center Schwarzl

blossomed out as the largest Open-Air Gym all over

Austria.

In only one site one is able to practise more than 80

forms of sport.

Something for everyone is provided – on land and sea

or above the clouds. beach volley, karting, inline skating,

mountain bike riding, Segway, paintball, sailing, wind

surfing, water ski, wakeboard and high rope course are

some of the opportunities provided to spend your leisure

time well.

Action, fun and excitement...

With an area of 7000 m2 the STUNT.AT adrenaline park

offers adventures for everyone. Climbing is allowed to

sizes 110 cm and up.

For the young and the young at heart, beginner or pro,

something for everybody is offered.

60 stations on 6 courses, 10 flying foxes, and much

more are catering for variation.

The STUNT.AT adrenaline slide – with a height of 40

meters, a lenght of 430 meters and a top speed of 70

Km/h (about 44 mph) –the ultimate adrenaline thrill

ride!!

The lake of Schwarzl area is providing just the

including all kind of amenities as well as a so called school sports

vil lage – a vil lage consisting of four-bed log cabins.

The lake of Schwarzl

– the so-cal led

ocean of the people of Graz

– is located within the limits of the beautiful village of Unterpremstätten,

about seven kilometers south of the provincial capital Graz and only

five kilometers away from the international airport Graz-Thalerhof.

Having its own motorway exit slip road and a car park with 16000

spaces are the main reasons for smooth access.

Starting spring 2010, there will be a public bus route taking the

bathers out of Graz straight to the lake of

Schwarzl.
