2nr: How funky was your chicken? How loose was your goose?AL: Yes, I was a cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks. Those weresome of the best years of my life. We had the best seats in thehouse and cheered for a lot of fans. But I have to tell you thatthere’s so much more than just cheering at the games—the realityis that the games take up the least amount of time. We did charityevents, parades, radio and T.V. appearances, and we also workedwith the players for community outreach programs.2nr: School me…is there any difference between say an NFL andan NBA cheerleader?AL: Well, with football there’s like 70,000 fans at each homegame…and there are 10 games. Basketball has like 40 games andabout 10-15,000 fans a game…so for football, you have a muchlarger audience. Dance-wise, the moves are bigger and what not.NFL’s girls are known to be glamorous, beautiful girls. NBA hasmoved toward hip hop and has focused more on the dancing thanon how pretty the girls are.2nr: And not to mention that the NFL has the best wardrobe mal-functions available to commercial television.AL: I’ve had one. We had a pre-game routine where we had to startat one end of the field and end up all the way on the other end. Wehad these uniforms that had to be laced from the bellybutton allthe way up. Mine was a little loose and since we had to dance thewhole time the movement was making the laces unravel. I couldn’tdo anything about it and to add to the situation, there was a cam-eraman on me that was sending images to the Jumbotron.2nr: 3 cheers for live camera feeds and gigantic screens!AL: Not really a malfunction, but on one of my shoots with a maga-zine, I was playing the role of “Ms. Fixit” where I go around thishouse and they photograph me fixing stuff. So I'm at a sink and I'mbent over messing with the pipe, and the shots end up showing meoff with a plumber’s crack.2nr: The term “plumber’s crack” gets my mind trading off imagesof an overweight and disgustingly sweaty man-crack and theimage of the butt-crack of a beautifully shaped 25-inch waist andit’s 35-inch hips. It’s like a blessing and a curse.

2nr: I'm sure you go on shoots often, how did you like Tuner’scover shoot?AL: The Import Tuner cover shoot was so fun! The stylist was goodand the photographer was cool. Yeah, I go on shoots fairly often.Today I'm on my way to do a print shoot for a clothing retailercalled Wet Seal. 2nr: Modeling has done well for you?AL: I’ve been modeling professionally for about 5 years now andI’ve managed to get some good titles under my belt. I love doing it.Aside from acting, it’s the only thing that’s driven me. The onlything I hate is the “instability” factor.2nr: Here’s a tip: date a high-paid mogul-type so that it won’t mat-ter if you get that callback or not—cause mama’s comin’ homewith that Prada one way or another!AL: Really, I'm a typical girl’s girl. I like to go shopping, go and getsome sun (giggles), go on vacation, go hang out with my friends,go to dinner, go dancing…2nr: Yup, that’s a girl alright. Seems you might need a little cash todo all that stuff…especially since you can pretty much do all thosethings in a weekend—especially shopping.AL: I’m a total bargain shopper. I love finding a good deal! I shop atthrift stores…and places like Forever 21! I do have a thing fordesigner jeans and bags. I mix it up.2nr: You all of a sudden became affordable to all our parking lotpimps. Give a name to your style.AL: “Classy Trendy”

2nr: Do you have a crowning achievement?AL: I’ve not done anything that’s really overshadowed the otherbut my first “real” big-thing—getting placed in the top 5 of“Maxim’s Hometown Hotties” in 2004—was pretty cool. It was aturning point. After that I got two spokesmodel contracts.2nr: Getting recognized is a big turn-on for you?AL: I'm not trying to be conceited or anything, but being aSeahawks cheerleader got me recognized back in Seattle. Thatwas back when I was 18. The recognition doesn’t really faze meanymore. This is just the beginning!2nr: So you have some plans?AL: My plan was to move out here for work and I started modelingbecause it was the easiest thing to get gigs for…it’s become mybread and butter. But since there’s a shelf life for models, I startedto do some acting. I got agents and a manager and just recentlydid a national commercial for Miller Lite. I did Wild-n-Out with NickCannon and I'm doing Budweiser stuff in Europe for the World Cup.

2nr: Being young and living in Los Angeles, we’ve got to see youaround, right?AL: I like to dance, so I usually hit the hot spots. This past SaturdayI went to a club called Privilege. 2nr: So you are diggin’ that A-List type scene. Nice. Getting back tooff-camera stuff…do you have some quirky obsession? Like stampcollecting?AL: I do. I collect vintage lunchboxes (giggles).2nr: I collect hearts.AL: What?2nr: Nothing.AL: I have a few lunchboxes from when I was little. I have a metal“Carebear Cousins,” a “Carebear” and a “Strawberry Shortcake”lunchbox.2nr: Cute, you must have gotten a lot of attention in the firstgrade. Ya know, back then if a boy liked you, you usually got apunch in the arm from him to get your attention. Next thing youknow you’re getting a kiss by the monkey bars. Now that you areolder, what does a guy have to do?AL: The best thing to me, now that I'm older—and as you get olderit’s not about the looks…especially here in L.A. where you have amillion beautiful faces—I like a guy that can hold a conversation. With me, I'm kind of a smart ass so I guess I need someone that cangive it back to me to hold my attention.2nr: So looks don’t matter too much nowadays? Working back-wards, you’d hope that the guy with the personality you like lookslike….AL: Well, an Abercrombie & Fitch model is not bad to look at…butthey’re not always “all there” upstairs.2nr: I believe that all beautiful women are smart and intelligent—and that’s what keeps my attention.AL: I’ve dated average-looking guys, but their personalities arewhat I liked most.2nr: I'm glad we’re on the same level…and a perfect match.
