Solo: I’ve heard there was a secret chordThat David played, and it pleased the Lord. But you don’t really care for music do you?It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth,The minor fall, the major lift; The baffled king composing Hallelujah.

All: Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

Solo: You say I took the name in vainThough I don’t even know the name,But if I did, well really, what’s it to you? There’s a blaze of light in every wordIt doesn’t matter what you heard,The holy or the broken Hallelujah.

All: Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

All: I did my best, it wasn’t much,I couldn’t feel so I tried to touch,I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you.And even though it all went wrongI’ll stand before the Lord of SongWith nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah.

All: Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

Composed by Gregory Gilpin

Music builds a bridge, it can tear down a wall.Music is a language that can speak to one and all!

This is why we sing, why we lift our voice

This is why we sing! We sing! We sing!

When you walk through a stormHold your head up highAnd don’t be afraid of the dark.At the end of a storm is a golden skyAnd the sweet silver song of a lark.Walk on through the wind,Walk on through the rain,Though your dreams be tossed and blownWalk on, walk on, with hope in your heartAnd you’ll never walk aloneYou’ll never, ever walk alone!

Composed by Brendan Graham & Rolf Løvland, performed by Josh Groban

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary; When troubles come and my heart burdened be;Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up: To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger; Each restless heart beats so imperfectly; But when you come and I am filled with wonder,Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

Composed by G.M. Summer, arr. R. Emerson

S/A: You’ll remember me when the west wind movesAmong the fields of barleyYou’ll forget the sun in his jealous skyAs we walk in fields of gold

T/B: So she took her love for to gaze awhileApon the fields of barleyAll: In his arms she fell as her hair came downAmong the fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my loveAmong the fields of barleyWe’ll forget tell the sun in his jealous skyAs we lie in fields of gold

I never made promises lightlyAnd there have been some that I’ve brokenI swear in the days still leftWe’ll walk in fields of goldWe will walk in fields of gold

Oooooh….

Many years have passed since those summer daysAmong the fields of barleySee the children run as the sun goes downAmong the fields of gold

I never made promises lightly….

S/A: You’ll remember me when the west wind movesUpon the fields of barleyT/B: You can tell the sun in his jealous skyWhen we walked in fields of gold,All: When we walked in fields of gold

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are callingFrom glen to glen, and down the mountain sideThe summer’s gone, and all the flowers are dying‘Tis you, ‘tis you must go and I must bide. But come ye back when summer’s in the meadowOr when the valley’s hushed and white with snow‘Tis I’ll be here in sunshine or in shadowOh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

And if you come, when all the flowers are dyingAnd I am dead, as dead I well may beYou’ll come and find the place where I am lyingAnd kneel and say an “Ave” there for me.

And I shall hear, tho’ soft you tread above meAnd all my dreams will warm and sweeter beIf you’ll not fail to tell me that you love meI’ll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

I’ll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

Composed by Carole King

When you’re down and troubledAnd you need some loving careAnd nothing, nothing is going rightClose your eyes and think of meAnd soon I will be thereTo brighten up even your darkest night

You just call out my nameAnd you know wherever I amI’ll come running to see you againWinter, spring, summer or fallAll you have to do is callAnd I’ll be thereYou’ve got a friend

If the sky above youGrows dark and full of cloudsAnd that old north wind begins to blowKeep your head togetherAnd call my name out loudSoon you’ll hear me knocking at your door

You just call out my nameAnd you know wherever I amI’ll come running to see youWinter, spring, summer or fallAll you have to do is callAnd I’ll be there

Ain’t it good to know that you’ve got a friendWhen people can be so coldThey’ll hurt you, and desert youAnd take your soul if you let themOh, but don’t you let them

You just call out my nameAnd you know wherever I amI’ll come running to see you againWinter, spring, summer or fall

All you have to do is callAnd I’ll be thereYou’ve got a friend
