The Type of Game That…

Brain Age is the kind of game that combines three moments of your life; being unprepared for a pop-quiz, dreaming you’re naked in front of the entire class, and that frustrating moment where you can physically hear the little men in your head screaming “she can’t take much more, Cap’n!”

Believe me, I got a much worse score…

Call The Fire Department

This particular game uses a series of tests under “Daily Training” such as Sign Finder, Piano Player, Word Scramble, and Memory Sprint. These games alone exercise the prefrontal cortex which is in charge of storing and retrieving memories.

If you take a look at my misshaped Play-Doh brain, the prefrontal cortex is right about…

…here.

I’m no doctor.

Although…

I still felt myself begin to overheat (although for other reasons) and I did experience heavy amounts of frustration. Both, I can thank the limbic and reptilian parts of my brain.

I didn’t get much of a chance to work out either of these pieces of the brain of which I have so cleverly crafted…

Reptilian.

Limbic.

There’s Various Forms of Play.Especially forms that involve this water-gun, but ultimately play is everywhere once you open your mind to it. Whether it’s sitting at home and enjoying a relaxing game of WAR-SPLOTIONS 720: Battle of The Spleen Grenade or an exciting game of Harvest Snooze: Crop ‘Til You Drop… Into Unconsciousness, or even games as fun-loving as throwing rocks at each other, there’s always plenty of Play value amongst each of these activities.

PLAY OPORTUNITI

Engaging In Play…Play provides many positive stimulations to the brain that encourage healthy overall growth. Engaging in these activities will help stimulate quicker and more intelligible responses through enriching personal experiences. It’s important to keep in touch with whatever form of play suits you the best, even as you age play can help keep your mind fresh and capable to entertain a wide variety of ideas.

Keep yourself on your toes, your brain will thank you for it.
