Are you just starting your college education, transitioning

to a new career, or enhancing skills to advance in your job?

WNCC offers you quality instruction while you earn a

marketable degree, diploma, or certificate — on campus

or online.

If you’re planning to attend a four-year institution, you can

complete the first two years of your degree at WNCC and

transfer your credits. That will save you thousands of dollars.

Plus, our small class sizes mean you’ll get individual attention

and support from instructors — a powerful way to strengthen

your confidence and skills.

Make friends with classmates from other countries, join clubs

and participate in intramural activities, share pizzas in the

residence halls, take in theatrical and musical events, cheer for

the Cougars, and create lifelong memories. Our faculty and staff

include WNCC alumni, who’ve made those experiences their

own. They know WNCC’s commitment to student learning,

fun, and success is solid because they’ve lived it. And we want the

same for you.

Choose WNCC as the special place to create your future.

With 112 prestigious academic awards and a reputation for

student-centered instruction, WNCC’s programs meet tough

standards set by these top accrediting agencies:

• Higher Learning Commission of the North Central

Association of Colleges and Schools

• National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission:

Specialized Accreditation

• The National Accrediting Agency for Clinical

Laboratory Sciences for Phlebotomy Technician and

Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate program:

Highest Accreditation

• Federal Aviation Administration: Approved for Aviation,

Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance program

• American Welding Society: Accredited Test Facility

for Welding Technology program

You’ll learn directly from award-winning, full-time and adjunct

faculty, not teaching assistants. Nearly 30 percent of our faculty

have earned Ph.D. degrees or the highest degree offered in their

respective fields. They choose to teach at WNCC because of

our small class sizes (15:1 student-to-faculty ratio), which

ensures student-centered learning.

You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with

instructors who will help you achieve your potential and

who will take pride in your success.

Our programs are recognized — and taught — by the best

Grand vistas inspire imagination and learning. Chimney Rock

and other towering landmarks offer counterpoints to vast rolling

plains. Fossil beds, bison, and panoramic views abound, while

majestic cliffs, rugged trails, and lakes call out to swimmers,

bikers, hikers, and horseback riders.

With campuses in Alliance, Scottsbluff, and Sidney, WNCC is

located throughout the scenic Nebraska Panhandle, offering

close-to-home convenience for local students and for students

from Colorado, South Dakota, and Wyoming — who can all take

advantage of our in-state tuition.

Our three campuses add up to one great college experience

Alliance Campus

Located in a community known for its

historic main street, parks, and quiet

neighborhoods, WNCC’s Alliance Campus

is in the heart of an American hometown.

It’s just three hours from Rapid City and

the Black Hills of South Dakota and four

hours north of Denver. Outdoor recreation

is extensive in this “Edge of the Sandhills”

city and its Laing Lake Park.

The Alliance Campus offers computer

and science labs, as well as additional

course offerings via Interactive Video

(ITV) distance learning classrooms.

Powerline Construction & Maintenance

Technology is a featured program at the

Alliance Campus. The Nursing program is

among the most popular at this campus.

Scottsbluff Campus

Home to Cougar athletics and our

well-known vocal and instrumental

programs, our Scottsbluff Campus is

WNCC’s largest campus, complete with

newly renovated residence halls. It’s located

in the Nebraska Panhandle and just

minutes from a regional airport, Scotts

Bluff National Monument, and Lake

Minatare Recreation Area.

Conestoga Hall

This two-story hall accommodates

148 students and has the latest in campus

living with spacious, well-equipped suites.

Pioneer Hall

Newly renovated throughout, Pioneer

offers affordable on-campus living for 160

students. The tower features community

bathrooms and lounges on each of the

three floors. The new addition offers

double room suites with a shared bath and

a lounge on each floor with scenic views.

Pioneer Activity Center

PAC is the cornerstone of the Pioneer

residence hall and offers a conference

room, laundry facilities, WiFi, community

kitchen, and recreational space.

Bishop Dining Hall

Students from each residence hall can

enjoy a meal with friends on campus.

Students living in college housing are

required to have a meal plan, and both the

14- and 19-meal plans are designed to meet

dietary needs. Bishop Dining Hall also

offers a plan with 10 meals per week for

our commuting students.

Cougar Den

Students on the go or in between classes

can get a quick bite, meet up with friends,

or catch an open mic night in the Den,

located in the main building near

the Bookstore. Cougar Dollars and cash

are accepted here.

offer distinct learning environments in picture-perfect settings.

SCOTTSBLUFF CAMPUS SIDNEY CAMPUS

Sidney Campus

Sidney, Nebraska, is home to historic Fort

Sidney and Cabela’s corporate world

headquarters. The city is in the midst of a

robust economic redevelopment movement,

adding trails and parks throughout the area

and alongside our campus.

The Sidney Campus offers on-campus

housing, two computer classrooms, a

Library Resource Center with an Education

Success Lab, and ITV classrooms.

This campus is also home to the only

public institutions of Cosmetology and

Aviation Maintenance in the state of

Nebraska. The latter is FAA-approved and

provides hands-on training at the Sidney

Municipal Airport.
