WIM Mission Statement

WIM is dedicated to addressing topics of family, significant others, and work environments that affect both women and men.  Our goal is to highlight topics relevant to both genders that are not typically

discussed in other settings.  It is not aimed at women only; we strive to attain cohesiveness between the genders and discuss issues that each faces both together and separately.

We’ve volunteered in countries such as Costa Rica, France, Australia, Guatemala, Samoan Islands and MauritaniaWe’ve conducted research in everything

from oncology to pediatric nephrology to dermatology.• We are firefighters and EMTs

We are professional dancers and have toured the world and worked on BroadwayWe have done archeological work in Turkey and PeruWe are mothers, teachers, leaders, athletes and we will be the next group of amazing female doctors.
