Inpatient medical stabilization and withdrawal management for alcohol or drugs.
WCH has partnered with New Vision to provide a medical withdrawal management services for
those with pending or active withdrawal from alcohol, prescription medications and other drugs.
Patients are admitted to WCH for a short stay (typically 3-5 days) while our physicians and
nurses treat them. New Vision staff at the hospital work with patients to create a discharge plan,
connecting patients with continued care within a recovery program. Through this program,
withdrawal is medically managed by a team of the hospital’s doctors and nurses.
