Based in our Edinburgh, London and Guildford offices, our programme will provide invaluable experience for anyone considering a career within a research or consulting environment and who wants to find out more about the Natural Resources industry. Who are Wood Mackenzie? Wood Mackenzie is the most comprehensive source of knowledge about the world’s energy, chemicals and mining industries. We analyse and advise on every stage along the value chain – from discovery to delivery, and beyond – to provide clients with the commercial insight that makes them stronger. Wood Mackenzie has offices around the world and currently employs circa 1300 people. When does the programme run? The programme runs through the summer months. We ask that students commit to an internship of at least 8 weeks with a maximum of 14 weeks. Most interns come to us for 10-12 weeks between June and September. What will I be doing? Working alongside experienced research analysts and consultants, you will gain first-hand experience of what it’s like to work in a commercial research environment. Our aim is to give you a comprehensive insight into the work of a leading research organisation looking at all aspects of the Natural Resources business. The specific opportunities will be determined by live business requirements and by discussing your skills and aspirations. What will I gain? You will actively contribute to a research product or project, enabling you to put theory into practice. You will be encouraged to share your ideas and previous experiences with the team. You will learn new skills which will be of value to you in your future career and current academic studies. You will be provided with excellent support and coaching to get the best out of your internship. You will participate in career development activities run by our HR team
