WOODDALE
MICROCHURCHES
Multiplying the Church &
Spreading the Gospel
Throughout Our Communities
WOODDALE’S VISIONTo impart the hope of the Gospel to 700,000 people
here, near and far, and to provide a clear pathway to spiritual maturity.
BUT WHAT ABOUT…
…people who may never (or could never) come to
one of our Wooddale campuses?
• Neighbors who have given up on God
• Coworkers who are too busy for church
• Friends who think church is too complex or institutional
• Vulnerable populations in closed communities
• More crises that force restrictions on large gatherings
HOW WILL WE REACH THEM?God is calling Wooddale to equip and empower everyday followers of
Jesus to start microchurches where we live, work and play. Our vision is that
these microchurches will meet regularly as an extension of our church in
corners of our communities—from living rooms and cul-de-sacs to cabins
and conference rooms. Through these microchurches, people will encounter
God and experience community as they engage those disconnected from
God. Disciples will be made, leaders will be developed, and more
churches will emerge to spread the hope of the Gospel hear, near and far.
In the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming that Jesus is the Messiah. -Acts 5:42
WHAT IF . . . God is calling you to start
a microchurch in your
neighborhood, workplace, or
another spot in the community?

Smaller gatherings of people who meet regularly
to worship with Wooddale’s online service. (~5-50)
Microchurches use resources from Church @ Home
to foster community and discipleship.
Every microchurch identifies meaningful ways to
impact its local community together.
Microchurches intentionally invite others to join
them and to experience the hope of the Gospel.
WHAT IS A MICROCHURCH LEADER?
A Wooddale Microchurch Leader:
• Embraces his/her gifts and calling as one who is sent to their local
community or to people in their sphere of influence.
• Develops a plan for leading a recurring microchurch gathering in a
particular location that will reach others.
• Leverages Wooddale’s online resources for worship, teaching, community
and outreach for their microchurch.
• Receives support, oversight and training in discipleship and microchurch
leadership through Wooddale’s Training Center.
