Bogesunds Väveri AB has been weaving fabrics for over 80 years. Production still takes place at our factory in Åsunden, Ulricehamn, where it all began. Our interest in designing, creating and delivering fabrics of the highest quality is still going strong.

Within our walls, tradition and many years of experience inter-sect with innovation and curiosity. The result is high-quality fabrics infused with Swedish textile craftsmanship, something we always seek to preserve. Strolling through the Swedish countryside on a beautiful summer evening is like sweet music for body and soul. You are surrounded by towering conifers and young deciduous woodland, together with fallen trunks, reminders of a bygone era.

For us, nature is also a source of inspiration and joy, as well as something we feel responsible for. We are impressed by the simplicity of its beauty while admiring the complexity of its structure. We have tried to recreate all this in textile form, a representation that incorporates several different temperaments depending on colouring, packaged, of course, in perfect harmony with applicable quality and environmental requirements. We then named the temperaments after places in the world that we feel visualise the feeling we want to create, places that in some cases actually only exist in your imagination!

WoodlandsWoodlands is our new Trevira CS collection. Each fabric is made up of three yarn colours which, together with its pattern, make it very hardwearing and practicable even in demanding public environments.

The design of the fabric creates a modern, timeless expression while the mix of colours provides as many temperaments as variations in nature. Choose from cool natural colour options or explosive autumn colours, sparkling summer shades or colour combinations found in the world of the imagination. Woodlands features expressions to suit every taste and occasion.

Woodlands is manufactured in Ulricehamn, Sweden, and is covered by EU Ecolabel environmental certification, a guarantee that the product has a minimal impact on the environment and is produced under good conditions.

Few things look as enduring and vital as American redwoods. They tower majestically over vast areas, forming a landscape that is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Combine them with the autumn splendour of maple trees and you’ll find a collection for which the key words are heat, durability and vitality. The colours are rich and exude a power that gives the fabrics a distinct identity. Like the redwood trees towering high above their surroundings, these fabrics were created for those looking to make an impact on their environment.

Tranquil, safe and cool. That’s the feeling you get as you wander through the classic Scandinavian wilderness, surrounded by coniferous forest, birches and other deciduous trees, all forming a landscape that is constantly challenged by seasonal trials. Our interpretation yields fabrics that reflect both the stripped surfaces of the trees and the granite coast. Simple, pure and subtle, yet so natural and beautiful. The colours are rather restrained and reflect the naturalness that is sometimes so liberating and obvious when creating interiors.

The Northern Forest The Redwood Forest

Sometimes imagination actually surpasses reality! For who can resist the enchanted forests of the Avatars, forests that teem with life and a display of colour seldom seen. In our textile interpretation of various forest environments, we wanted to create scope for colours and combi-nations that belong more to the realm of fiction than real life, colours that allow the user to realise the unimaginable.
