WORDPRESS DEVELOPER BuildEmpire are looking for a self-motivated and passionate WordPress developer, with at least a year of commercial experience who shares our values in collaboration, creativity and innovative ideas.

Your job will entail writing robust and reliable code for your assigned projects; as a developer you should be capable of communicating clearly and effectively - both in technical scenarios, and also on a non-technical level, e.g. when liaising with clients. You will also be required to take part in code reviews of other developer’s contributions to projects.

We require the candidate to have experience of:

• clean, semantic HTML • modern, responsive, cross-browser CSS including Sass (or similar) • Git • OOPHP 7+ • MySQL • Composer • JavaScript (esnext) • build tools (eg. webpack) • building WordPress plugins and themes from scratch

It would be nice for the candidate to have experience of:

• Git Flow • working with Vagrant, Chef and the CLI • building their own Composer packages • advanced WordPress knowledge of, but not limited to:

o Using WP-CLI o Working with ACF o Multisite o Migration of WordPress sites between environments (including, Capistrano

or wp-deploy) • integrating with external, third-party APIs.
