SubDomains:  Are  seen  as  separate  URLS  in  search  engines,  thus  are  given  separate  results.      SubDirectories:  Are  seen  as  ‘belonging’  to  main  domain,  they  give  more  authority  to  the  main  domain.  

STRUCTURE

 •  Mul%site  allows  mul%ple  websites  to  be  

powered  off  a  single  backbone.    

•  Mul%site  allows  Super  Admin  to  control  &   restrict   but   allows   admin   to   make  daily/monthly  frequent  changes.    

Example:  New  York  Times,  hos%ng  more  then  60  microsites  coverying  everything  

imaginable.
