Suddenly from
no where a tiger
appeared and it
was looking
straight at me.
I remembered
my Master’s words “Death can
come anytime”.
Probably this is
the time. The
tiger may pounce
on me. There was
not an iota of fear
in me.
I had mentally
accepted to die.
Once you accept
death whole
heartedly, fear
will disappear.
People fear in life
since they are
unable to accept
death as the final
conclusion in life.
Even when they
get old, they want
to survive and
escape death, so
they keep fearing.
When death
comes, the nature
is so beautiful

GURUJI’S
EXPERIENCE
***********************
One day when i
was young,
Maharishi Rajar
told me “Always
keep in mind that
you may die any
moment. This
attitude will help
you when you are
in danger.”
I started practicing
this in day to day
life.
One day he asked
me to go very deep into the forest and
meditate on the
pranavakara sound
of ‘AUM’.
I carried my seat
made out of
darbha grass and
was about to start
my meditation
deep inside the
forest.

So i had accepted
death whole
heartedly and
hence was
fearless.
The tiger was
looking at me for
more than 10

there was no fear
in me.
Suddenly the tiger
left the place and i
started my dyana.
LORDS’S GRACE
Faith never
questions. Faith
only knows to
surrender. Faith is
beyond any doubt.
Lord has to be
trusted 100
percent for all his
actions. Otherwise
we cannot call it
as faith. You can’t

excuses claiming
that you are
human and bound
to succumb. In fact since you are

1.Saving from snake-bite, 2.BalaSaheb Mirkar, 3.Amir Chak
kar, 4. Hemadpant, 5. Baba’s views on killing snakes.
*********************************
Hemadpant gives us an easy way to meditate on Sai. Like the 3rd day of the moon, Baba is sitting with His Right leg folded on His left and His Left 2nd and 3rd fingers resting on His R foot thus showing His big toe through these fingers. If we can concentrate on this and meditate sincerely, Baba’s Grace will befall on us.
When a devotee BalaSaheb Mirkar was leaving after taking Baba’s darshan, Baba casually warned him of a possible snake bite and wanted to take Shama along with him. Mirkar initially refused but took Shama anyway. When they reached a village and sitting under a banyan tree, someone spotted a snake moving over his towel and killed the snake immediately. Mirkar realized Baba’s words coming true!
Babu Saheb Bhuti was afraid when an astrologer predicted that he will die on that day. Baba assured him that nothing will happen to Him when He is there to protect . That evening Bhuti saw a snake on his way to bath-room which disappeared quickly.

One Mr. amir Chakkar stayed with Baba for 9 months but one night he left the Chavadi and reached Kobargaon. While staying in a shelter, he gave water to a Fakir who died immediately. Fearing that he may be implicated, Amir ran back to Shirdi at night and continued to live with Baba. One night Baba woke him up by shouting that He had seen a demon. When Abdul came with a lamp, he sighted a big snake which was killed immediately. Thus, Amir was saved.
While listening to a discourse, Hemadpant noticed a scorpion moving over his upper towel. He slowly removed the towel, folded it and threw it out before being harmed. Another time, a snake was spotted which disappeared before it could be killed. Baba used to say that God resides in all creatures, be it a snake or a scorpion and everything happens as per His will. So, we should show love to all beings and discard hatred and anger. Then God will protect us for sure.

BOW TO SRI SAI
PEACE BE TO ALL!!

Saiamrutham — “For seeing brahman (realizing the self) one has to give five things, (i.e. surrender five
things) (1) five pranas (vital forces), (2) five senses (five of action and five of perception), (3) mind, (4) intellect
and (5) ego. This path of brahma-jnana of self-realization is as hard as to tread on the edge of a razor. ”

FOUR BRAHMINS AND A THIEF
**********************************
There lived a brahmin thief in a village, who even though scholarly was very cunning and ready to cheat others for his benefit.
He thought he found his chance to become rich when he spotted four merchants in his village selling their wares. He slowly gained their trust and accompanied them. The merchants thought he was a honest fellow and kept him with them. When they finished their sales and acquired a lot of money, they bought jewellery, so it will be easy to hide inside their thighs. With a special ointment that they had, they pasted their thighs shut and made their way home through a jungle. The brahmin thief made a show saying that he liked their company and would like to accompany them. A shrewd tribe lived en route, hidden inside the jungle. They had a magical crow which can spot treasures and inform the chief. When the thief and the sellers came their way, the crow alerted the Chief and they encountered the sellers and the brahmin. When they could not spot any treasure on their body and their belongings, they got confused and when they could not get them to reveal the treasures, they were

about to kill them all. Brahmin thief thought a while and knew that they will all be killed and he being the one without any jewellery inside him will also be killed. So, he formulated a plan and said to the chief,"O Chief, is there any reason to kill all of us,? Please kill one of us and if you find treasure, you can kill others for treasure and if you don't find treasure in one person, you need not kill all others." And volunteered to be killed and searched first. The Chief agreed and killed and searched his body thoroughly and when he could not find anything, he let the others go freely. Thus, a lifelong crooked person helped others in the end.
MORAL OF THE STORY **************************** It is better to have an intelligent enemy than a foolish friend.
SRIDHARAAMRITHAM **************************** Put heart as your master. Disciple is the mind and heart is the master. When you allow the heart to observe the actions of your mind, after sometime you will start laughing at the actions of the mind.

HOW TO CULTIVATE BHAKTHI - PART 3
**********************************************************
Next mode of Bhakthi is “Pada Sevana”, meaning serving the feet of the Lord. Goddess Lakshmi is at the lotus feet of Lord Vishnu always, serving at Him. We can serve His feet mentally or physically for the image of Him at the temple or at home. We can do “kaingaryam” or service at the temple. Service to people in need is equivalent to Service to God as well.
When doing service to people, it is normal for human beings to think that they are “helping” them. But a true devotee would think of it as “serving” instead of helping. Thinking of “helping” brings about the Ego in oneself, since we think it is “I” who is helping. But when we “serve” someone, we put ourselves below the other, and therefore Ego does not have a place here.
