“ For this is your lot in life and your

toilsome labor under the sun. Whatever

your hand finds to do, do it with all your

might” - Eccl 9:9,10


“ A feast is made for laughter, and wine

makes life merry, but money is the

answer for everything” -Eccl 10:19


“Command those who are rich in this

present world not to be arrogant nor to

put their hope in wealth, which is so

uncertain, but to put their hope in God,

who richly provides us with everything

for our enjoyment.


Command them to do good, to be rich

in good deeds, and to be generous and

willing to share. In this way they will lay

up treasure for themselves as a firm

foundation for the coming age, so that

they may take hold of life that is truly

life”. –1st Timothy 6:17


“If a man is lazy, the rafters sag; if his

hands are idle, the house leaks”

Eccl. 10:18

In Proverbs 12:27 Solomon says, “The

lazy man does not roast what he took in

hunting, but diligence is man’s precious

possession”.


Proverbs 22:13, says, “There is a lion

outside! I shall be slain in the streets”.

In Proverbs 10:26, “As vinegar to the

teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the

lazy man to those who send him”.


“ If the ax is dull and its edge

unsharpened, more strength is needed

but skill will bring success”.- Eccl. 10:10


“If a snake bites before it is charmed,

there is no profit to the charmer”

Genesis 3:17,18 says,

“ Cursed is the ground because of you;

through painful toil you will eat of it all the

days of your life. It will produce thorns and

thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of

the field. By the sweat of your brow you will

eat your food until you return to the ground,
