The East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) Project is an initiative to provide long-term flood protection on the east side of Manhattan.
Work begins in ESCR Project Area 1
Starting the Week of November 01, 2021
Phased work operations are scheduled to begin in East River Park. Closures within the Park and pedestrian detours will take place to accommodate equipment transport and construction fencing. Advisories & Bulletins are posted as released on-site and on the ESCR website: www.nyc.gov/escr/notices
For vehicle and pedestrian safety, follow all signage while detours are in effect.
