NO PLACEMENT?

• School will have a list of placements

• Students will be asked their preferences in January

• We will help find a placement

• No guarantees that we can match a student’s dream!

• Students could be asked to work a 37 hour week, not school hours

• Students may be given a day off in the week.

• School doesn’t expect students to work on a Saturday

date – they may need to go for an interview

FINAL THOUGHTS

• All our students have a really good week

• The employers are usually very complimentary

• Some students are very lucky and get paid a small amount

• Others may get the offer of a part-time job

CONTRIBUTIONS

• No funding

• Administration costs of Work Experience considerable

• £10 contribution requested

• Possible opportunity for a residential ‘Look at Life’ with the Army. More information available later this term.
