When you’re elated and want to share or test out your new ideas …
So, why present at WIPS?• For feedback and encouragement...• Crystallize your thoughts - refine research questions or
clarify methodology • Test out material prior to bigger conferences or
develop further for academic papers• Practice talking to non-specialist audiences - unpack
jargon and communicate ideas clearly• Develop presentation skills • Complete the presentation requirement for probation

When? Approx every 6 weeks at 1pm

So, how do you get involved?
• Email Jenny (J.M.McMullan) to express an interest and arrange a date
• Send an abstract (<250 words) to Amanda (A.A.Fine) or Dave (D.Scott)
• Invite any specific academics or peers you would like to attend
