1. Purpose of this policy
This policy governs the working hours and holiday lists of the company. Any incidents of exceptions to this
will be informed to employees through an official communication to employees and staff.
2. Holiday List
The official holiday list of the company is published on the employee portal. The holiday list will be
common across all geographic locations. Any changes to the holiday list will reflect on the companys
intranet portal and will be communicated to all employees and staff by the Human Resources department.
For those employees, who are deployed at customer locations, either on a part-time or full-time basis will
follow the published holiday list of Axon. If the Customer is working on an Axon Holiday, then the engineer
is eligible to claim a Compensatory Credit for having worked on an Axon Holiday. Applying for
compensatory leave credit and taking compensatory leave are governed by the companys Leave Policy.
2.1. Where is it published?
To view the holiday list, on the Intranet Portal, follow the steps mentioned below:
Log on to Intranet Portal
Click on HR > Holiday List.
The holiday list for the current calendar year is displayed.
3. Work Hours
All employees must put in a minimum of 8 hours of work a day / 48 hours of work a week (excluding the rest
intervals, lunch/ coffee breaks, etc.)
The business hours at AXON are:
Monday to Saturday: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, with a 60 minutes lunch break (Business Hours are as per the ShiftRoster specific to an employees job function or role).
We practice a six-day work week with Sundays being the official weekly off.
4. Over time and compensatory off
The company does not have a policy to pay its employees or staff any additional allowance for any work done
beyond the stipulated number of hours on any given day.
How-ever if employees and staff do work on days which are officially declared holidays, or designated as
weekly offs, employees can request for credit of such time spent as a credit into their leave balance.
Applying for compensatory leave credit and taking compensatory leave are governed by the companys Leave
Policy.
An Approved Compensatory Leave Credit is valid only for 30 days from the date of Compensatory Work.
Unclaimed Compensatory Leave Credit will lapse on completion of 30 days from the date of Compensatory
Work. Compensatory Credit can be availed for the following:
a. Holiday worked Comp Off ( Needs an Operations Manager / Service Delivery manager approval)
b. Weekly Off worked Comp Off ( Needs an Operations Manager / Service Delivery manager approval)
c. Added assignment worked Comp off ( Needs a Director level approval)

5. Time Sheets
As a matter of company policy, employees would be required to fill t imesheets online. This is in addition to any
other reports that employees are already sending in as requested by their supervisors or managers. Timesheets should factor and have information for at least 190 hours of time per month (No. of hours vary
subject to the number of days every month), including leave that may have been taken, else this could affect
the employee pay cycle for that particular month.
To access Time Sheets on the Intranet Portal, follow the steps mentioned below:
Log onto Intranet Portal
Click on Time sheets underMy Profile
To fill the Timesheets,
1. Choose the Client Name from the list. Any work for Axon to be mentioned as Internal.
2. Choose the Context of the activity. An employee has to mention Context as Leave if he/she has been
on leave on a given day. An employee must ensure the date and time are entered to accrue 8 hours of work
for the day the activity is marked as Leave.
3. Choose the start date and time when a certain activity is started or an employee has reported to work.
4. Choose the date and time when an activity is completed.
5. An employee should provide a detailed description of the activity including current status,
accomplishments and issues.
NOTE: The timesheets are ideally to be filled on a daily basis, though keeping in view of the busy
schedules, employee does have the liberty of filling the same once in a couple of days.
Timesheet for a particular day when unfilled will remain accessible only for 7 days after which an
employee will not be able to fill the timesheet for the day he/she had missed. For any
issues/assistance regarding salary not being processed or difficulty in filling timesheets, kindly drop

6. Work from Home (WFH)
Work from Home requests (if eligible) from an employee has to be approved by their Reporting Manager. It
has to be communicated to the Reporting Manager minimum of 2 hours before the start of shift.
Work from Home requests from employees without a prior approval from their Reporting Manager will be
considered as Loss of Pay (LOP).
7. ClarificationsAny discrepancy / clarification with regard to the leave or salaries should be brought to the notice of the HR Departmentonly.
