Morisot painted this in 1888, this was meant to be a depiction of her daily life. This painting reflects the 19th-century cultural restrictions of her class and gender.

Burning of the houses of Lords and Commons, by Joseph M.W. Turner.

Painted in 1834. Turner witnessed the disaster and made this painting to recreate the event.
