1/2
When a mysterious criminal mastermind steals one of the pyramids in Egypt, evil
genius Gru becomes jealous and decides to do something even better. The last time Gru
managed to make the headlines was years back, when he and his minions stole the Times
Square JumboTron. This time, Gru is planning the biggest robbery of the century. How?
Ever since Gru was a little boy, he dreamed of going to the moon. Now, if Gru just
built a rocket and obtained a powerful shrink-ray, he could have a reputation as the
greatest thief who ever lived by stealing the Earth's satellite right out of the sky. But
immediately after Gru gets the shrink-ray, the cunning super-nerd Vector takes it right
out of his hands.
Now, in order to claim the moon, Gru must first take back the weapon from Vector.Armed with the knowledge that his enemy has a weakness for sweets, Gru adopts cookie-
selling orphans Margo, Agnes, and Edith. He asks Dr. Nefario, his personal weapons
specialist, to create a new line of cookie-robots. Then, he sends the three little girls to
sell the surprise cookies to Vector.
But when Gru and his tiny yellow minions prepare the biggest robbery in history,
something strange happens. Gru discovers that the
three little girls who have come into his life are much
more than simple tools in his evil plan.
When Gru realizes that his moon mission and the
ballet show of the girls take place at the same hour, he
must take a decision: what is more important - being a
present parent or making his villain reputation once and
for all?
