Julia , together with otherleading providers of ThirdSpaces will examine the globaltrend towards flexible working

as more workers demand access outside theoffice and home with flexibility, creativity andconnectivity offered by mobile, tablet andcloud technologies in a professional workenvironment anywhere, anytime.

Sarah has a long track recordin delivering successfulknowledge management

programmes. Her background includes Cityprofessional services and centralgovernment. She is fascinated with the waythat people interact with technology tocollaborate and the growth of mobile.

Peter is a Director at CiscoSystems and heads its IBSGconsultancy group in the UK.

He joined Cisco after a career that hasincluded Perot Systems and McKinsey & Co.Peter will look at the rise of video in businesscommunications and discuss the implicationsof pervasive video for work and the workplaceas we head to a world where virtualisationand computing in the cloud challenges thetraditional roles of bricks and mortar.

John will addresshow conventionalschooling andemployment canproduce acompliant and

passive worker when we what really want iscreative people with initiative who are braveenough to do the right thing - what John calls aplayer. What will help attract these people andfoster the right mindset in your current staff?

Paul has a reputation forembracing progressivetechnology and unlocking theIT assets of an organisation,

freeing up the investment so the users of theservice begin to enjoy the experience ratherthan simply tolerating it. He will outline theadvancements he has recently achieved atEversheds.

Kevin works with customers totake control of the unmanagedstate of manual processes andunstructured information that

stifles business innovation and transformation. He will discuss business issues surroundingthe explosive growth of digital content andhow companies can intelligently capture, manage and access information to driveresults to the bottom line.

In today’s economic climatefacilities and real estateprofessionals are being forcedto do more with less, leading

companies to move away from the assetownership mentality. John evaluates this “seaof change” and how the shift towards variableworkspace, increased videoconferencing use,and other workplace strategies have resultedin significant opportunities to maximiseefficiency, reduce property, energy, and otherrelated costs, increase employee retention, and attract the new generation of worker.

Alan’s invaluableand uniquecreative insightspresent us with analternative way ofworking and

existing – a better way – in which “participatoryleadership” is the new operating system for theworkplace and "wellbeing and creating valuefor the collective good" is the new currency ofour economy. Through his book and project “NoStraight Lines” Alan joins up the dots of what hecalls our non-linear world and splendidly pavesfor us a new future which is accessible toeveryone through innovation, creativity andcraftsmanship.
