from Obs & gyn units, Labour Room, Pediatric
units and consulting clinics.

• Total 24 posters were received from Faculty SON, nursing & hospital

• Poster Judgment was held by Dr. Rahat Qureshi, Consultant Obsteric
and Gyneacology, Dr. Fauziya Ali, Assistant Professor and Director,
MScN Programme, Ms. Khairunnisa Hooda, Nurse Manager & Ms.
Yasmeen Surani, HN, Labour Room.
• Faculty AKU-SON, Department of
Human Resource and student from
Secondary hopsitals, Hyderabad
received the winning prizes.

• Dr. Anita Zaidi, Chief Guest, Chair Department of Paediatrics and
Child Health delivered speech on the event
• Ms. Noureen Lalani, Nurse Manager, Maternal and Child Health
Area, the Aga Khan University Hospital introduced the theme of
World breast feeding day 2011.
• Dr. Rafat Jan, Director, Midwifery Programe concentrated on the
Importance of Breast Feeding
• There were 150 participants.
• Quiz competition was held and
participants received prizes
