Earth Day 2014

• It focuses on the need to create sustainable communities through its global theme for this year: GREEN CITIES.

• With technology, forward-thinking public policy, and an educated and active public, we can transform our cities and forge a sustainable future.

• Nothing is more powerful than the collective action of a billion people

Manage Tasks and Notes Digitally There’s really no reason to have a desk littered with sticky notes and maintaining manual logs when almost everything is digitalized today.

Carpool Since our cars are some of the greatest sources of pollution in our daily lives, it makes sense to club daily commutations with colleagues of same area and save some money too.

• According to Chevron, the world uses 2 barrels of oil for every 1 discovered

• It took 125 years for the world to consume 1 trillion barrels of oil, the world will consume the next trillion in only 30

• Each gallon of gasoline burned creates 19 pounds of CO2
