World Marine of Alabama, LLC is situated on 53 acres (21.5 ha) offering 100,000 square feet (9,290 m2) of covered fabrication with an outside fabrication area of 300,000 square feet (27,871 m2), a Panamax-class floating

moorage of vessels up to 1,000 feet (304.8 m).

World Marine has been recognized by the Shipbuilder’s Council of America (SCA) as one of the safest shipyards in the United States. For many years our facility has earned SCA’s Award for Excellence in Safety. Our safety record continues to be significantly better than the industry average, with several years having zero recordable injuries. • Formal safety department with a designated, experienced department manager, dedicated competent persons, and EMT/paramedic trained personnel

• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Certification • Test and Inspection Plans (TIPs) are integrated with the project schedule. • QA inspections and rejects are analyzed and included in daily production meetings. • Qualified structural, pipe and tubular welding procedures: ABS ASME DNV-GL Lloyd’s Register API AWS • All shipyard welders are ABS certified • Less than one-half of one percent welding reject rate. • American Welding Society (AWS)
