World War II, and it’s effected the economy.

World war II effect on the economy
• The War was the reason the Great Depression ended. The war made many open jobs to people to make things that the soldiers needed. The jump out of the depression made the stock market jump. A bunch of the Americans products went over seas, then half of the countries products went over seas. There were some hard times, but the War was basically a good economics time for the U.S.
The start of World War II
• No one wanted a war. But when the Germans attacked Poland, the European countries had to get involved. Hitler wanted more land, especially in the east. Hitler and his army had already conquered two countries Austria, and Czechoslovakia. Many wondered if it was right for Germany to take over two countries without a fight. Many also think Brittan and France didn’t get involved because they did not want a another big war like World War I.

What were the main countries involved in world war II, and were are they.
The main countries that were involved in the war are allies U.S.A., France, Brittan and Russia. The Allies of Germany are Japan and Italy. These are the main countries that were in world war II.
The worst parts of the war• The holocaust was one of the worst thing in
World War II. The burning of innocent people. And the bad fighting in the eastern part of Europe. The thing that the free world was forced to do in order to win. The being forced to fight and you couldn’t say no or else your country might lose. The war was the reason the U.S. got out of the depression, so it wasn’t bad for the economy. But people had to less of everything because of the war.
How it changed peoples lives in the U.S?
• At least one person from every family was drafted into the army to fight. many People less of also everything. Less meat, less tires, less gasoline, and less food. People recycled. People recycled old tires, old tin cans, and any metal that could be saved to make things like bullets, or planes, or boats. Woman were sent to the factories to work while the men went out to fight. The economy jumped because everyone was working.
How did the war change peoples lives in Germany?
• Early in his political career, Hitler regarded economic issues as relatively unimportant. In 1922, Hitler proclaimed that "world history teaches us that no people has become great through its economy but that a people can very well perish thereby", and later concluded that "the economy is something of secondary importance". Hitler and the Nazis held a very strong conception of history, which held that human events are guided by small numbers of exceptional individuals following a higher ideal. They believed that all economic concerns, being purely material, were unworthy of their consideration. Hitler went as far as to blame all previous German governments since having "subjugated the nation to materialism" by relying more on peaceful economic development than on expansion through war.
What people have done to help stop it
• When the war was going, and they need more soldiers to fight, the women went out to work in the factories. People also recycled. People recycled almost everything. They recycled cans, and all metals for bullets and planes and ships. People got less food so they could feed the army. People got less gasoline so that there was extra for the army. Everyone did this so that the war would end faster if they did this. And if they didn’t do it, people would say that they would lose the war.
How does it affect me?
• The wars economy didn’t really affect me that much.
A solution for World War II
• I think that if Germany wanted more land they should have battled for it and not just took it. I also think that they should have just battled that country and not half of the world.
Long effects of the war
• Some of the effects of the war are the people that died in the war, and how there families are always sad. People that lost body parts and have to live without them. Also people that get war sickness and can’t forget the war. The women went to work in the factories, and not only in the homes.
Who went to fight.
• The U.S. military sent people in the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force to go and fight. They sent people over there to win the war. There was someone from every house drafted to the military. Then women had to go and work in the factories. A lot of jobs cam up then. While the men were fighting in Europe, the women were making the stuff that they needed to fight.
• Many men went out to fight. Then the women went to work in the factories. Then when the men came back from the war, they worked in the factories. Some of the women that worked in the factories stayed and worked, others left and worked in there homes.
Before and after
• Before the World War II the U.S. was in the Great Depression, and before that the U.S. was in World War I. Then World War II happened and the U.S. was out of the Depression then the men came back and worked at the factories.

• There were 92 counties involved I the war. But there was only Seven main countries involved in the war. They are Germany, Japan, Italy, France, Russia, Brittan, and The U.S.A. The three main that were on our side were Russia, France, and Brittan. The three main that we were fighting against were Germany, Japan, and Italy. There was about 50,000,000 people died in World War II.
Post World War II jobs
• Many Americans feared that the end of World War II and the subsequent drop in the military spending might bring back the hard times of the Great Depression. But instead, pent-up consumer demand fueled exceptionally strong economic growth in the post war period.
Baby boomers
• A Baby boomer is a person who was born during the demographic post World war between the years 1946 and 1964, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The term "baby boomer" is sometimes used in a cultural context. Therefore, it is impossible to achieve broad consensus of a precise definition, even within a given place.
The GI bill
• The GI bill is also known as the servicemen rejustment act. It is for the returning soldiers back into the civilian population. The bill provides financial support for education and housing.
World War II
• War is a very bad thing, but this war got us out of the Great Depression and back on track. The war was a good economics for the country, but it seems like it would be a bad time because of fighting.
