WorldAPP Unplugged: Offline SolutionIntroducing a revolutionary new way of 

Field‐level Data Management  of  your 

electronic forms: offline access via 

mobile devices.

There are two versions of Offline 

solution available*: 

web‐application which may work in 

any HTML5 compatible browser and

installable app for iPhone, iPad and 

Android.

Using Offline Solution you can also take pictures with your device and attach to submitted forms on a fly.

WorldAPP’s application helps you to define whether your form or survey is fully compatible with offline solution

You can collect multiple responses in unplugged mode and once connection is available, all responses can be uploaded at once

Custom Data ModelsData Models let you store multiple databases within the same account and use all the stored information in distributed forms. You can create tables with numerous columns and fields formats in just a couple of simple steps. Leverage data from custom data models in your forms by allowing the users to select objects from the data tables within their forms. Update custom objects with the real‐time data collected with your forms. 

Lookup QuestionsCustom Data Models allow you to use a brand new question type – Object Lookup. Select data from your database to present it in a dropdown, cascade‐style concept. Inside reports you will have background records from Data Models shown for each response:

Forms Creation Process EnhancementsCreate and design forms and surveys even faster using the improved feature set now available within the 8.2 release.

Contact Manager interface grants faster, more convenient access to features and available plugins.

JavaScript section: Customize your form or survey’s behavior with the help of additional program code that can be inserted using the  section.

Private label customers within the SaaS based application can now have their own template account for custom forms and survey templates and Question Library content creation. Meaning your customized question sets will be available instead of WorldAPP’s default question library. 

Form items can be now configured to be visible in Report By Respondent (RBR) mode, eliminating the need to hide pre‐populated fields.

Sub‐users of Multi‐access accounts can have permissions to add records to Contact Manager, as well as, to delete them. The same rights along with creation are presented for Custom Data Models as well.

Application Hot Keys. Create and manageyour forms and surveys even faster with the help of application Hot Keys.Click h from the Home screen to access the entire list of shortcuts.

PluginsPlugins are now available for the Contact Manager and Custom Data Models. In addition, there are five new plugins available inside the application.

User Agent Hide Logic allows hiding questions from respondents that are using a certain web browser or operation system. For example, your respondents will      not see questions about Apple devices, if they are using Blackberry.

Logical workflow  will automatically trigger follow up forms based on specified criteria. Also, now you can apply several workflows to the same origin form.

Autolaunch on Portal launches a designated form to respondents automatically once a record is added to the Contact Manager.

Two plugins were developed specifically for Custom Data Models:

Create contact or custom data object is an advanced version of the Register Contacts plugin that creates new records upon a form’s submission for the Contact Manager or Custom data Models. 

Update contact or custom data object  automatically updates records in a respective database upon form submission.

And to make it easier for you to navigate between multiple plugins or search for a particular ones, the Search feature was added to the Plugins section:

To protect your sensitive data you can even restrict WorldAPP personnel access to your account. Now you can control when and for how long supporters shouldhave access to your forms, surveys and reports in order to assist you.

All reports are now created as inactive by default to guarantee that no one can access them from outside of your account even if the link was copied.

Now, all reports can only be exported with an opened application session only. Thus, you can be sure that your data cannot be accessed from outside the application without login credentials.

Security Level Up

Your SaaS based application will require login through httpS connection. So if you access the links below to login to your account, we recommend youto make sure that all API and remote URL connections are established usinghttpS links.

API Improvements RESTful API improvements: 

• Ability to retrieve list of survey responses in the portal for the current user• Ability to retrieve the master link of the form published on the portal for 

the current user• Ability to retrieve detailed profile information about the logged in user• OAuth 2.0 authentication for remote applications that allows to easily 

leverage Contact Manager as a user database.

SAML‐based Single Sign On capabilities for Private Label accounts, to provide Single Sign On functionality even to the SaaS users.

SOAP API improvements:• Ability work with the Form header in the API• Ability to launch password protected surveys through API

Other Improvements More piping references can be used: {FormID} and {RespondentID} references 

would pipe respective parameters into your form and survey fields or into settings of the Remote Data Sender and Logical Remote Data Sender plugins.

My Account section has been redesigned creating a far more convenient, user‐friendly interface.

Forms and reports copies can be created in just one click with the help of Copy feature.

Reports now support decimal values in all statistics calculations, Time Series, Statistic Tables, and in all export formats.

In order to make it easier to manage multiple reminders set, we have added a Manage Reminders section. It also grants an access to all previously sent reminders, and they can be copied:

A number of default settings in the report charts and elements have changed to make creating nice‐looking reports easier:• Report Index navigation bar is disabled by default• Graphs are shown on a right side of data tables• By default captions are shown as labels and Show values next to bars 

option is enabled

Reminder translations are now copied when the form is copied for Multilingual forms

Ability to view people who have skipped a question in the reports was added

Unsubscribe link in invitation emails is now customizable

Percentile and quintile calculation improvement for 360 survey reports

Response Label field was added to Reports in order to use certain response data as submission markers. Each type of report export now has an additional field for Response Label value.

Forms posted on a Portal can now be submitted multiple times. Respondents can also manage their responses, copy submitted forms and view the whole statistics:

Removed Functionality

The Register Contacts plugin was replaced with Create contact or custom data object, which now works for the Contact Manager and Data Models as well. Of course, existing forms and surveys with the Register Contact plugin applied will continue to work properly.
