Worship News= Together Tuesdayswill be offered as a third Worship ex- perience beginning Sept. 5th. If you would like to be part of a planning team, please join us on July 18th at 7pm in Wesley Hall. This worship will be an outreach to our community and hosted at Hill & Holler Restaurant. We welcome Rev. Rick back on July 16th to lead worship. Also, we are so pleased to have Lara back! Thank you for sharing your gifts with your church family! Summer Interns, Mary Claire Ickes, Caleb Warden, and Tiler Bland will be in ministry with us through August 6th! Welcome them today! BIBLE STUDY OFFERINGS= Life Group will be taught by our Interns this summer, begin- ning June 4th. All are welcome to explore weekly faith topics. It will be a delight to hear from the next generation each week. Fellowship Opportunity= We have a new hospitality area! The hospitality cart has relo- cated to the narthex area near the Lee St. entrance of the sanctu- ary. We encourage you to come have a cup of coffee or tea and visit with your church family. Mission Trip is FULL!! We will be taking 9 leaders and 28 students! Wednesday, July 19th= Mystery Mission!!

Children’s Ministry= Summer Sunday School will be from 10-10:45 am in the Children’s Wing. All chil-dren will meet together (K-5th grade). Our summer interns will be teaching through story telling, activities and art.

We will not have Sunday School during the State Fair, August 13th & 20th for teens or children. See you on August 27th to meet your new Sunday School teachers!

Meetings= Finance Team will meet on Monday, July 17th at 7:00pm. Office News=

All Construction will begin the repair of the portico entrance on July 24th and we anticipate it will take about 2 weeks. During this time the entrance will be closed. We are making alternate plans for accessibil-ity. More to follow.

The Youth House windows project has been completed.

The Preschool at LUMC is growing! Due to increased enrollment, we will be adding a 3-year preschool classroom for the 2017-2018 year. If you are interested in joining a great team of teachers, love young students, and have experience in a preschool learning environ-ment, please contact Shannon Lehman at (304) 646-1343.

“The American Red Cross has issued an emergency appeal for blood donations of every type. Please come out to donate blood and help hospital patients in our community. Your one donation of whole blood can help save up to three lives! Our next blood drive will be on Monday, July 24th in the fellowship hall.”

Missions= The LUMC Mission Team Golf Tournament will be held on Wednes-day, August 23, 2017 at The Lewisburg Elks Country Club. Golf hole sponsorships are available. For more information or if you would like to play and do not have a team, contact Harvey at 304-646-1517. All proceeds will benefit the 2016 Greenbrier County flood victims
