Donors will receive a “Go Hog Wild” t-shirt! Men’s Breakfast The Methodist Men’s breakfast meeting will be on Tuesday, October 17 at 7:30 am in the Christian Life Center. Bud Lindsey has arranged for a program about the vital role bees play in our environment by the Greater Hot Springs Beekeepers Association. All men are welcome! Caregiver Workshops by UAMS will be on Wednesdays, October 18 and 23 from 6 - 7 pm in Chrsitian Life Center Room 203. The two free workshops will be on Dementia Community Resources for family care givers, and for our Congregation Care Volunteers and Stephen Ministers. Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat will be on Sunday, October 29 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the Christian Life Center and FUMC Parking Lot. Come out in your non-scary costume and have lots of FUN at Trunk or Treat. Then join the interactive Maker Fest Tinker & Creation Stations! Families can tinker, invent, doodle, and create together. Fall Fest Help Needed! Below is a list of ways to volunteer: Lead a Maker Fest activity/craft station. Email Laura Larue at [email protected]. Donate candy for Trunk or Treat. Drop off individually wrapped candy at the Welcome Centers of the sanctuary and Christian Life Center. Please no nuts! Host a trunk for Trunk or Treat. Email Stephanie Foreman at [email protected]. Volunteer to be part of the hospitality, parking lot greeter, or golf cart driver crew. Email Rev. Teresa Holt at tholt@ fumchs.com. Bring chili for dinner. We need 40 crockpots of chili! Call Candy Poirier at (501)623-6668 ext. 117. Bring chips for dinner. We are asking members with last names A-L to bring single servings of bags of chips.
