Want to make a booking?

Establishments regularly update their availability

on our website so please check on

www.visitworthing.co.uk or phone the Tourist

Information Centre for advice on vacancies.

Do not leave it too late! Booking early is

important to get the accommodation that you

want – when you want it. Weekends and events

get booked up very early and stays may be

subject to a minimum of 2 nights.

Specify the dates of arrival and departure;

the number of adults and children; the

number and types of rooms needed and

any special requirements (e.g. parking, meals,

diet, accessibility).

Confirm with the provider the price for your stay

and the deposit required.

By accepting the offer of accommodation either

verbally or in writing, you are making a legally

binding contract. Do ask for their cancellation

terms when booking and notify the establishment

immediately of changes. Compensation maybe

due if accommodation is not taken up as agreed.

Always give an expected arrival time and phone

immediately if you are delayed – accommodation

providers can re-let accommodation if you have

not arrived as agreed.

Taking out holiday insurance is advisable.

Always tell them that you found them in the

Worthing Guide or on www.visitworthing.co.uk

How much will I pay?

Prices shown are for guidance only. Prices may vary

according to the time of year, size of party, length

of booking and for individual rooms or type of room

available. Always confirm the actual rate for your

chosen stay.

Hotel/B&B prices are a guide and are generally

per person, per night based on 2 people sharing

in low season.

Self Catering prices shown are per unit, per week.

Accessible accommodation

Some establishments may be suitable for those with

limited mobility, but are not assessed to the National

Accessible Scheme standards. We indicate those

that may be suitable with an A but you should always

discuss and confirm any special requirements with

the manager/owner when making a booking.

Not happy?

The best way to get any complaint or problem

resolved is to let the proprietor or manager know

- at the time! This gives them the chance to put

things right and help you have a more enjoyable

stay. If you are not satisfied with the result of your

complaint, you can forward a copy of any written

complaint to the Tourist Information Centre,

Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HL for our records.

Do make it clear that we have your permission

if you want us to pass a copy of the complaint

to the accommodation manager, the assessing

authority or any other appropriate authority.

Worthing Borough Council, Adur District Council and the Tourist

Information Centre have no statutory authority over establishments

and are unable to get involved in legal or contractual issues, or give

legal advice.
