They range from drug addicts to deacons. Though very different, they are all very interesting. My absolute favorite is my mother’s cousin, Marilyn Cooper. She is quite frightening when you first meet her. She always introduces herself as “Ms. Cooper,” even though everyone calls her Marilyn. She is six foot three, has a lazy eye, and very small teeth. They range from drug addicts to deacons. Though very different, they are all very interesting. My absolute favorite is my mothers cousin, Marilyn Cooper. She is quite frightening when you first meet her. She always introduces herself as Ms. Cooper, even though everyone calls her Marilyn. She is six foot three, has a lazy eye, and very small teeth. She has a very dominant personality and my mother has said that she has been this way since they were children. When she first meets you, it feels as if she is staring at every single one of your flaws. Even with all of these interesting qualities that she has, I still somewhat admire her. She still seems to have an abundance of confidence and self-love no matter what happens to her. She has suffered through the sudden deaths of both of her parents, having a sister who has not spoken to her for six years, and not being accepted by her family because of her brute personality. This makes her an inspiration to me. Even though she is not always kind to others, she always offers her respect to anyone who deserves it and admits her own flaws and I find that extremely impressive. She is the perfect example of how someone who has been mistreated throughout life can become such a strong woman. Although many of my family members would not agree with what I am saying, she is someone that I look up to. I look up to her not because of her no-tolerance attitude, but because of her strength. She once said to me, The biggest revenge is not retaliation, but silence. She told me this a few years ago and it has stuck with me as one of the most profound things I have heard from anyone.
