Think about what materials around the house you could use to make your marble run
(Lego, newspaper, cereal boxes, other construction toys) and ask permission to use them.
Can you create your marble run? Test it using a marble or small ball. Does it work? How
could you make it even better?

Using a number cards or a dice choose three 1–digit numbers.
Multiply them together. Can you remember how to do short

hundreds column to decide whether to round up or down. Make a 4-digit number using number
cards or dice. Remember our rounding rhyme:
1, 2, 3, 4, let’s round down to the number before.
