• Learn the basics of the science behind your story BEFORE interviewing experts

Interview Guide• Have twice as many questions as you think you will need

• Make questions open-ended• Try to make flow of questions conversational and natural

• Confirm contact information, title, name spelling, area of expertise, specialty, etc.

• Check terminology preferences of people being portrayed– For example: “People with dwarism,” “little people,” or “people of short stature”
