Archeological sites often help a culture learn about its past in order to progress into the

future, as well as to feel a sense of pride for that cultures achievements. Unfortunately, one of

these places, Chan Chan the great city of mud, is now in danger due to the continuous rains

and showers the northern part of the country has had to endure this week. In the next two

paragraphs, I will briefly discuss how the situation with Chan Chan was before the rains and what
