Junior Chinese Enrichment creates a relaxed

Chinese learning environment that enables the

children to develop a sound foundation in

Chinese and be well acquainted with the

language.

This is achieved via our special reading

programme, language games, sing-a-long

sessions, storytelling sessions, and oral

activities.

Our lessons also teach the commonly used

Chinese vocabulary, so that young children can

form Chinese words from individual Chinese

characters and use them appropriately. Our

interactive and creative approach will stimulate

the child's interest in Chinese.

Creative Writing Workshop is designed to put

the students in touch with their creative

abilities, freely express their thoughts and

have fun with their writing. It develops the

student’s skill in writing composition.

Conventional composition is task oriented,

emphasizing the completion of the story within

a specific time frame.

Creative Writing guides our students through

an exciting range of creative writing styles

while enriching their vocabulary and

reinforcing the grammar foundation. Students

learn how to write confidently, expressively

and accurately. They will also be enriched in

their vocabulary and grammar.

innovative and enhance their interest in Mathematics.

The objectives of the Action & Enrichment Maths

workshops are:

Fun Science enrichment programme, aims to

generate children's interest in the field of Science,

reinforcing their concepts and allowing them to relate

better with the theories acquired in schools and give

them insights into how Science can impinge into our

lives.

The Science Enrichment is designed to:

� provide the students with experiences which build

upon his interest in and stimulate his curiosity

about his environment .

� provide the students with scientific concepts to

help him understand himself and the world around

him.

� provide the students with opportunities to develop

skills, habits of mind and attitudes necessary for

scientific enquiry.

� prepare the students toward using scientific

knowledge and methods in making personal

decisions

� help the students appreciate how science and

technology influence people and the environment.

Fun Science Enrichment will be delivered in an

interactive manner through experiments. These

hands-on experiments are developed in accordance

to the current Primary 3 to 6 Science syllabus.

Exposure to a good balance of English and Chinese at

an early age helps your child become effectively

bilingual. Chinese Enrichment lays the building blocks

for a strong Chinese language foundation. Creative

and enjoyment activities encourage developmental

growth and help children gain mastery of basic

language skills in Chinese.

The pupils are shown how to analyse a simple text and

pick out the main ideas in it, how to identify the main

points in more involved articles and passages, and

how to select the required items for their answers.

The pupils are then led to describing and discussing

the key elements in pictorial stimuli and to write about

them in a spontaneous and original way from their

personal perspectives
