WSCC CROSS CHAT MESSAGES & SONGS OF PRAISE
I pray that the peace & mercy from our Father God, King Jesus & the Holy Spirit flows into each of your lives.
Every November at Thanksgiving we reflect on what has happened during the year; hopefully, we think of the things that we are thankful for and remember to thank God Who
made them possible. James 1:27: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with Whom there is no variation or shadow due to
change. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 – Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. We cannot avoid thinking of those days that were not so good, especially at the loss of a loved one. While we are lonely for them here, we can be joyous in knowing that they are in Heaven waiting for us to join them eternally. I know that I personally look forward to the day when I will be with loved ones forever. Realistically, we know that not every day of our lives is spectacular & fantastic holding a wealth of goodness for us daily in this world. What is so very important to each of us is that
there will come a day when we can look back and see that during rough times in our lives we were not alone. Jesus is always with us to see us thru. All we have to do is to reach out, take our Bibles in hand and start to read; for He is there to speak to us 24 hours a day, 7
days a week and 365 a year. There is a song that Pastor Bobby sings. It is called Jesus is enough. I think it is so
appropriate to share it here for you to store in your hearts for good times and for those not so good times.
JESUS IS ENOUGH by Russ Murphy
Whose shoulder do you cry on when no one is around? Who do you rely on when friends just can’t be found? Who do you cling to when you don’t know who to trust? I want you to know, that Jesus loves you so and He’s more than enough. Jesus is enough to calm the troubled waters in your soul. Jesus is enough to mend your broken heart and make it whole. With His arms around you, He’ll surround you in His love. Just take Him by the hand, then you will understand that Jesus is enough. Who do you talk to when you don’t know what to say? Who do you turn to when it seems you’ve lost your way; when you get discouraged and feel like giving up. He’s waiting there for you and He will see you thru, Jesus is enough. Jesus is enough to calm the troubled waters in your soul. Jesus is enough to mend your broken heart and make it whole. With His arms around you, He’ll surround you in His love. Just take Him by the hand, then you will understand that Jesus is enough. Jesus can touch your heart and you can feel the comfort and joy He gives knowing that He is always there for you, and knowing that JESUS IS ENOUGH. God bless you all!
Thank you, Holy Spirit for providing Your worlds for us to read today. Thank you, for your guidance which blesses each of us daily. Mary Bowden

PSALM 136 His Steadfast Love Endures Forever
136 Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good,
for His steadfast love endures forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods,
for His steadfast love endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 4 to Him Who alone does great wonders,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 5 to Him Who by understanding made the heavens,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 6 to Him who spread out the earth above the
waters,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 7 to Him Who made the great lights,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 8 the sun to rule over the day,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 9 the moon and stars to rule over the night,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 10 to Him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 11 and brought Israel out from among them,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 12 with a strong hand and an outstretched arm,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 13 to Him who divided the Red Sea in two,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 14 and made Israel pass through the midst of it,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 15 but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red
Sea,
for His steadfast love endures forever;
16 to Him Who led his people through the
wilderness,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 17 to Him who struck down great kings,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 18 and killed mighty kings,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 19 Sihon, king of the Amorites,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 20 and Og, king of Bashan,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 21 and gave their land as a heritage,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 22 a heritage to Israel His servant,
for His steadfast love endures forever. 23 It is He Who remembered us in our low
estate,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 24 and rescued us from our foes,
for His steadfast love endures forever; 25 He who gives food to all flesh,
for His steadfast love endures forever. 26 Give thanks to the God of heaven,
for His steadfast love endures forever.
King David wrote Psalm 136 remembering
what God had done from the creation of the
world thru freeing the Israelites and on to
being with them giving them the promised
land. David understood the importance of
thanking God for the blessings He bestowed
upon His people.
We believers today are grafted into God’s
family as His children. It is important that we
give thanks to God for all He has done for us
as well as, all He will do for us during our
lives on earth. And the reward for our
faithfulness will be the greatest gift we could
ever receive in the future and that is our
eternal spiritual lives in Heaven. His love for
us is steadfast and it endures forever. Amen

JESUS HOLD MY HAND Pastor Bobby sings
As I travel through this pilgrim land there is a Friend Who walks with me. Leads me safely
through the sinking sand, it is the Christ of Calvary. This would be my prayer dear Lord each
day to help me do the best I can. For I need thy light to guide me day & night, blessed Jesus
hold my hand.
Jesus hold my hand, I need Thee every hour. Through this pilgrim land protect me by Thy
power. Hear my feeble plea O Lord, look down on me. When I kneel in prayer, I hope to
meet You there. Blessed Jesus hold my hand. C
THANK GOD FOR SWEET MEMORIES Brenda sings
Today I as out driving around went by the old homestead. The house is gone & the barn is
falling down. The old windmill’s still turning in the wind & it still makes that old screechy
sound. I wondered if it still pumps cool, clear water.
They say you can’t go back, no, you can’t go back. Once you go away it’ll never be the
same. Thank God for memories, those sweet memories for when we get old sometimes
that’s all we’ve got.
I stayed with Ma after Grandpa died. We’d sit on her porch rockin’ side by side. I wondered if
she missed him, I never saw her cry. She’d tell me stories ‘bout when they were young.
Places they’ve been, all the things they’ve done. She’d smile & say, Child, I’m gonna miss
him. C
satan’s JEWELED CROWN Janee sings
Now if I were a queen & ruler of nations with diamonds & jewels profound. Well, I’d rather
know that I had salvation than to know my reward would be satan’s jeweled crown.
satan’s jeweled crown I’ve worn it so long, but god for my soul has reached down. His love
set me free, he made me His own & helped me cast off satan’s jeweled crown.
Oh, the life I’ve lived so sinful & evil, drinkin’ & runnin’ around. All the things I would do were
the will of the devil. I was giving my soul for satan’s jeweled crown.
HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW/HE TOUCHED ME Mary sings
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come? Why should my heart be lonely &
long for Heaven & home? When Jesus is my portion, a constant friend is He. His eye is on the
sparrow & I know He watches me.
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free. For His eye is on the sparrow & I know He watches
me.
He touched me, oh, He touched me & oh, the joy that floods my soul. Something happened & now
I know He touched me & made me whole.
Let not your heart be troubled, His tender word I hear. And resting on His goodness I lose my doubts
& fears. Tho’ by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see. His eye is on the sparrow & I know He
watches me. C
Since I met the blessed savior; since He cleansed & made me whole. I will never cease to praise Him,
I’ll shout it while eternity rolls.
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free. For His eye is on the sparrow & I know He watches
me.
GET IN THE BOAT Debbie sings
Get in the boat, get in the boat. Straighten up & walk the narrow way. Better read your Bible;
believe the Words He wrote. If you can’t walk on water, then you better get in the boat.
Jesus gave the blind man back his sight. Jesus turned the water into wine. We are just His children,
lost without His grace; guys & gals you better get in your place. C
You can bet they nailed Him to the cross. Jesus gave His life so we’d not be lost. The devil stirs up the
water so we must sink or swim, Jesus is the Boat, get on in! C
You know Jesus multiplies the loaves, he multiplies the fishes we’ve been told. Multiplies our
blessings, took away our sins. Jesus is the Boat, you better get in. C C
A PLACE ON CALVARY Rick sings
Lower my body & lift my soul & tell me to come on home. Let me leave this world of sin cause
Heaven’s where I want to roam. I will bow my head, raise my hands, get down on my knees. I just
beg & pray that I someday will have a place on Calvary.
Now we’ve all been blessed by the grace of God & His Spirit within us lives. But, still we ask for other
things & still our God forgives, but Lord, there’s just one more thing a personal favor for me. I just
want to suggest & make a request for a place on Calvary. C
Now the good book tells us how it was more than many years ago & I’ve read every word in black &
red, but still I had to know. Thru my deeds on earth don’t measure up well, my soul could be set free.
Ah, do I deserve? No, I don’t deserve a place on Calvary. C C
