I finally got the module running.

1. There is no RESET pin, use the module in 68MPU mode (no way to switch to 80MPU mode)

2. A0 is on pin4 (the RS stated on this page is wrong)

3. In order to see something on the display you need to lower V0. V0 (pin3) is actually VLCD and you need to get it to swing (via pot) from -5V to 5V in

order to get contrast to work. (unconnected this pin is 5V). On mine display dots are visible at around -4V so you need dual power supply to get this

one working!!!

Thanks a lot for your message, we will check it again.

As to the power to V0, it is used to control the contrast of the LCD. So we think there is no problem for Pin 3.

Not sure how to run this module with SED1520 when SED1520 requres

A0 (nowhere on the board)

RESET (nowhere on the board)

looking at some other modules pin4 (here RS) is usually A0 and RESET is after DB7 (no pin here) .. I tried to use pin4 as A0 and pin3 as reset - no

luck .. so if anyone managed to make this device run, please share pinout and code :)
