• Bulgarian National Interoperability Framework for the information systems in the state administration (adopted by the CoM in 2006)
• Law on Electronic Trade (adopted by the NA in 2006)
• Law on e-Governance (adopted by the NA in 2007, enters into force from July 1, 2008)

Single collection and multiple data use
• Administrative institutions have the obligation: − to request data from citizens and organizations only once− to collect the data officially from the primary administrator of the data
• The primary data administrators should send the data to all administrative authorities, which by law have the right to maintain these particular data.

• Delivery of over 5,500 computers, servers mainly to the regional and local administrations:
–Licensed software for 60 000 computers and 2000 server systems in all administrations
–Antivirus/spam/adware protection software for
20 000 computers and 1500 server systems in the local and regional administrations
–Delivery of 2,150 e-signatures
