The evaluation of the potential of the team members is vital to make sure that, on the one hand, the proper people are in the team, on the other hand, that there is perfect synchronization between the profile of a man/woman and his/her job. Moreover, an effective leadership means also tracing a team strategy, so as it might overcome competition .

The best way to measure leadership in corporations is in terms of team performance. Then, this may be quantified also by obtaining a feedback from the team members in relation with the performance of the leader.

Hard work and the wish to do a good job are important values both for the young people, and for the elder. In business, no matter the age or the generation, the basic principles must be understood and assumed: focus on customers, integrity, team spirit, etc.

A wrong approach in this respect is to select the future leaders depending on their preferences and the likings of the current leaders. The program used in organizations of identification of talents is closely related to policies and not to potential. The fastest, the most cost-effective and objective way of identifying and developing leaders is by using a process of systematic assessment.

Men are not better leaders than women. There are as many incompetent male leaders, as female incompetent leaders. When the women are good, they are as good as men, when they are inefficient, they are as inefficient as men.

The motivational persistence of a person is the greater as that person has a hyper-exact type of personality (perfectionist and meticulous, strictly follows the schedules) is more involved emotionally in his/her work, are mai multă energie, is self-assessed as having good performance, considers that he/she knows himself/herself better and tends to present himself/herself in a much more favorable light than the others.
