Placing Your AirStation
YourAirStationmaybeplacedhorizontally,orverticallywithitsstandattached.Withoutthestand,youcanevenmountitonthewall.
Forwallmounting,screwtwooftheincludedwall-mountingscrewsintothewallasshownbelow.Withthedetachablebaseremoved,slotsonthebackoftheAirStationwillfitoverapairofscrewsinthisconfiguration.

4. Important: turn everything on in the correct order!! PoweronyourcableorDSLmodemandwaitonefullminute,thenpowerontheAirStationandwaitonefullminute,andfinallypoweronthecomputerwhichwillbeusedtoconfiguretheAirStation.

AOSS(AirStationOne-TouchSecureSystem)isasimplesystemforconfiguringyourwirelessnetworksecurely.IfyourrouterandyourclientdeviceareinstalledandbothsupportAOSS,thenmakingasecurewirelessconnectionbetweenthemisveryeasy.PushtheAOSSbuttononthefrontofyourrouterandholditinforafewseconds.TheAOSSlightwillbegintoflashamber.YounowhavetwominutestopushtheAOSSbuttononyourclientdeviceandfinishtheconnection.AnAOSScompatiblestandaloneclientdevicewillprobablyhavealittleredbuttonlabeled“AOSS”onit.Pushthebutton!About15secondslater,you’llhaveasecurenetworkconnection. WPS(Wi-FiProtectedSetup)isasimplesystemforconfiguringyourwirelessnetworksecurely.It’ssimilartoAOSS,butsupportedbymanybrandsandtypesofwirelessequipment.YourwirelessclientsmustsupportWPStousethismethodofsetup.TherearethreedifferentwaystoconnectyournetworkdeviceswithWPS.Method#1:Withintwominutes,pushtheAOSS/WPSbuttononyourAirStationandthen

Some things to keep in mind when automatically connecting with AOSS or WPS:
•OnlyonewirelessclientadaptercanbeconfiguredwithAOSSorWPSatatime.•ItisnotnecessarytoreconnectclientdevicesthathavealreadybeenconfiguredviaAOSSorWPSunlesssignificantchangeshavebeenmadetothewirelessnetwork.
•DonotattempttoconfiguretwoseparateAOSSorWPSnetworksatthesametime,asitmaycauseundesiredconfigurations.
•IfanundesiredclienthasconnectedviaAOSSorWPS,itcanbedisconnectedfromwithintheWZR-HP-G300NH’sweb-basedconfigurationtool.
• Evenifyourclientdevicedoesn’tofficiallysupportAOSS,youmaystillbeabletouseAOSSifyouinstallBuffalo’sClientManagersoftwareonyourcomputer.Itworkswithmostclientdevices,includingmanymadebyothermanufacturers.Youcandownloadit from www.buffalotech.com.

On -WiththeMovieEngineswitchon,theAirStationoptimizesthetransferofmultimediapackets.IPv6passthroughisenabled,thewirelessmulti-castrateisincreased,andthesizeofTCPRwinislimited.Thisisidealforstreamingvideo,audio,andsimilarmultimediafiles.
Off -WiththeMovieEngineswitchoff,theAirStationactsasastandardrouter.
ThedefaultsettingisOff.
Movie Engine (QoS)
