Recyclable resin

Environmentally friendly design

New refrigerant system reducespower consumption by 30%We have developed an original refrige-ration capacity control system. With thissystem, power consumption is maxi-mum 67% less than previous systemthus providing even greater energysavings.

Uses HFC to protectthe global environment

The refrigerant used for the refrigeratoris an HFC which causes no damage tothe ozone layer, and thus complies withthe measures for ozone layer protectionspecified by the Montreal Protocol.

Low noise levels

A low-noise fan is used for the heatexhaust blower that accounts for themajority of noise produced by the driveunit. This also significantly improvesthe installation environment. (ExceptPSL)

Designed for easy recyclability

Molded plastic parts which can berecycled are clearly marked to makerecyclable materials easier to identifyduring disassembly.

Paperless recording (optional)

The paperless recorder makes it easyrecord the temperatures of differentcomponents, such as the chambertemperature, on a memory card (CompactFlash).

Utility

Cartridge tank

Stationary tank

Condenser filter

Cartridge tank makes watereasy to addBoth a stationary tank and a cartridgetank are used for the water tanks. Awindow is provided in the center of thedoor to make it easier to check theamount of water remaining in thecartridge tank. In addition, a warningbuzzer sounds to inform the user whenthe cartridge tank is empty. Meanwhile, water is charged from the stationarytank to the chamber. Water can be addedeven while the system is operating.

Unnecessary manual feeding/ draining of humidificationwater

Setting the drain switch to AUTO auto-matically feeds or drains water insidethe humidification tray depending on theoperational status. As a result, duringtemperature pull-down at temperaturesbelow 0℃, the humidifying water doesnot require manual draining, so thewater can be fed and drained auto-matically during both temperature andtemperature-humidity operations.

Easy cleaning of condenserfilter

The condenser filter on the left side ofthe chamber can be removed andreinstalled for easy cleaning (excludingmodel 4).

Space-saving vertical exhaustsystem (air-cooling system)

The heat from the refrigerator isexpelled vertically through a top-mounted exhaust port, therebyeliminating unusable exhaust space tobe provided behind the system. Inaddition, the chamber is also providedwith casters to make it easier to move.
