Provisioning Server Entitlement
• Existing customers that are upgrading to Citrix XenServer 6.2 will receive a PVS license entitlements during the server-to-socket licenses conversion process in the customer licensing portal.
• New Citrix XenServer 6.2 licenses (annual or perpetual) do not include a Citrix Provisioning Server license entitlement.
• There is no standalone SKU for the PVS entitlement.

Why go to single package flat SKU?

How Customers Obtain XenServer Licenses
Socket Licensing
Citrix XenServer require a license for each XenServer host CPU socket.
Customers can download a .LIC license key from MyCitrix and host it on a central Citrix License Server.

Customers must add all XenServer licenses to a separate Citrix Licensing Server.
Customers can view their socket count entitlement in the MyCitrix portal and can allocate these licenses among their servers.
Configuration
Configure licensing settings for XenServer in one of 3 methods.
Although Citrix encourages all customers to upgrade to XenServer 6.2, Citrix will continue to provide .XSLIC license keys until XenServer 6.1 has reached End-of-Life status.
