We modified PSPDCFSA.CBL and PSPDCFSA.DMS to take HSA employer YTD balance into consideration when calculating HSA employer flat amount contribution for the last on-cycle pay period in a calendar year, i.e. pay period HSA employer contribution will be topped up if the normal HSA employer pay period contribution plus the employer YTD balance is less then the annualized Employer Contribution Amount and pay period HSA employer contribution will be reduced if the normal HSA employer pay period contribution plus the employer YTD balance is greater than the annualized Employer Contribution Amount.

Prior to the changes, pay calculation did not take HSA employer YTD balance into consideration while calculating the pay period HSA employer contribution which resulted in the annual HSA employer contribution to be over the limit due to rounding of pay period HSA employer contributions throughout the year.

HCM 9.0: "Clear Cart" It is not consistent to clear if the manager has not created one.

"Duplicate" transaction_nbr rows in the table HR_MGR_LOC_DAT causes erroneous data update in MSS Location ChangeTransaction

2 or more managers Log in to PIA ,Navigate to MSS and do a Location change Transaction and click on submit simultaneously. Result sin duplicate Transaction _nbr in the HR_MGR_LOC_DAT.

This is the table that contains the control data (effdt, location) for the MSS location change transaction. This table is related to HR_LOC_TRANS by the key field transaction_nbr. This is the only key these tables share. I believe that this is occurring when 2 managers create location change transactions at the same time. The system is not incrementing the counter for the transaction_nbr immediately which causes both transactions to have the same key. When the final update is performed (into JOB), it grabs one of the rows with the right transaction_nbr which results in a 50/50 chance of having the right or wrong data update into JOB. Table HR_MGR_LOC_DAT should only have one key field. This would cause the an error when the second manager tried to save. In addition, the transaction_nbr should be incremented as soon as it is picked. This is what you do for most "counter" fields. It looks like only incrementing the transaction_nbr when the transaction is saved. This has caused DATA CORRUPTION which affects location, which affects state taxes.

Critical Security Fix

When a manager initiates a transaction through Manager Self Service to transfer employee, inactive Business Units are displayed in the list of values.

A software changes wsa made to retrieve POI_TYPE field value from the work record PER_JOB_XFR_WRK, since the data related to the 'New Person' has not been inserted into PS_PER_ORG_ASGN (%Mode <> 'A'). The work record contains some of the field values that will go into PS_PER_ORG_ASGN.

COBRA: CI_JOB_DATA_POI Component Interface creates row in JOB for Cobra POIs with incorrect statuses

The primary fix for this issue has been provided on the HR resolution for this ICE Report. On the Benefits side, we modified the PeopleCode associated with the Create Cobra Non-employee page and the CBR_NONEE Application Engine process to remove references to HR_STATUS and EMPL_STATUS. Those references are not needed because the Job Component Interface derives the status values independently from the setup of the 'POI' and the 'TER' actions on the Actions table.

Data Security has been added to Person Organizational Summary Component under navigation Workforce Administration > Global Assignment > Track Assignment > Person Organisation Summary.

Inconsistent behavior when adding multiple dependants that are mutually exclusive on Dependent Information page.

Spouses are set up to be mutually exclusive. Multiple spouses can be added at the same time on Dependent Information page when adding dependents the first time for an employee. If the employee has already entered a spouse and then tries to enter another an error message displays. This same error message should display when entering mutiple spouses initially also.

Component Interface for PeopleSoft-Person Profile module not working in HCM9.0

The component record PeopleCode for the Person Profile and Non-Person Profile components was modified to assign a unique Item Key Id to the profile item record (JPM_JP_ITEMS) in the event that no Item Key Id has been assigned. The presence of this value will allow the profile item row to be successfully saved from the component interface HJPM_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE_SRV. A new component interface (CI_JPM_PROFILE_ADD) has been created to provide the customer with a much simpler and better performing method of creating profiles using the ExcelToCI utility. This component interface will only allow new profiles and their profile content items to be created using the CREATE action. It will not be possible to add profile items to an existing profile using the UPDATE action. This component interface supports the creation of both person and non-person profiles and applies the same business validation rules as the administrator profile components. Both component interfaces (HJPM_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE and CI_JPM_PROFILE_ADD) do not support related items and adhoc items.

Team Person Profile displays wrong date and message

Application class PeopleCode has been modified to display the correct date in the message when a date has been selected for the "View As Of Another Date" profile action that the manager is not authorized to view.

After ordering notes, new notes can't be created

After sorting existing notes, it is not possible to create new notes unless user loads again the page.

This was tested on latest patch level (replication document attached). When tested on Vanilla, there was no issue present.

In HRMS 9.0, Job Notepad is not working as expected

When we add couple of job rows with future effective dates, the notepad data is automatically pulled from the first future dated row to the last one which should not happen. Notes should not be passed and should be attached to the rows where they were meant for. Also, when it is pulled, the prior effective dated job row loses its notepad data.

View Compensation History not showing all direct reports on drill down

If a manager uses the View Compensation History page to view his direct reports, s/he is able to view all their dependents. However if s/he then decides to drill down on their direct reports to see the next reporting level, not all data is returned if that direct report being drilled down on has multiple employee records (ie multiple positions with multiple direct reports).


This appears to be a problem in the DERIVED_ROWS.ACCESS_TYPE FieldFormula peoplecode on the Load_Reports function. This extracts data from the view OPR_ROWS_VW2 but if multiple rows are returned, it only selects the first row (ie first employee record) and ignores any direct reports on subsequent employee records.

Note, the customer tested this issue in 8.9 db up to MP3 and when they log in as secondary manager, they are able to view all the direct reports. However, when GCS analyst tested this in 8.9 db up to bundle #18, the secondary manager cannot see ANY direct reports in the View Comp History page, but she can see direct reports from other Mgr Self Service pages.

Soffware change has been made to address this issue.

The text catalog allows you to define context keys to help identify specific text entries to use. That key is defined as 30 characters, upper case. This prevent you from using the AWE process definitions as context id's. Process definitions allow mixed case keys. If you try to choose such a key, the text catalog page gives you an error that the key doesn't exists (because it "uppers" it after you choose it).

ETL9.0: Time Admin failed with ORA-1438 error due to an issue with Template 111 rule

Modified TL SQL object used by Template Rule 111 in Step09, by removing the PERIOD_SEQUENCE load from SEQ_NBR and loading it with default zero value.
